....That is a great question and I have no idea.

Perhaps that I enjoy memories of my sisters and I working together on something silly.

I'm guessing no one knows what my avatar is. It's the Clockwork Beast from The Neverhood, a children's adventure game made in the early 90s I played when I was a little kid. Despite being a kid's game, the atmosphere of the game was very lonely and slightly depressing because there were very, VERY few NPCs during gameplay. There were just rooms and rooms of puzzles. The picture in my avatar is from a 6 minute cutscene where a new-found ally, Bill the (giant) Robot (who carries a teddy around with his third arm), is confronted by the Clockwork Beast, which knocks him down, steals his teddy bear, rips its head off, and cackles as he drops the pieces into the abyss surrounding the Neverhood while a second ally runs around inside the robot shouting "Clockwork Beast! We're Doomed!". It was the saddest part of the entire game but, if taken out of context, tearing heads off teddy bears is kinda funny when it's implied you're doomed because he's doing it. Maybe I've over-analyzed my own avatar.

I love redheads, I love anime, and Misty is my favorite Pokemon/anime character. +s for the crazy smile.

I can't use an avatar unless I really like looking at it.

Your avatar actually in many ways brings me back memories of the times of my childhood watching pokemón.
Me and my siblings would get excited everytime it came on TV, it showed much i loved it then.
