Here's a new question for my curiosity...

If I'm 24 years old, is it ok to talk to children and teens on WP? (I would always imagine a little girl telling me, "My mommy told me never to talk to strangers.")

I don't see anything wrong with it. You're not THAT much older than a teenager and don't people do that anyway here on WP?

Oh, and almost everyone on WP is a stranger anyway. As in... I doubt people usually know others on this website in real life.

Well, of course not...

I just had some doubts for a moment since I was communicating openly and humorously to a couple of teenage girls.

For a brief moment, I felt like I was in high school again and I forgot how old I really was...

Nothing serious.

Ahhh... I see.

Why do most little girls tend to like the color pink?

On a similar topic, I've read somewhere that the color pink used to be the masculine color, and blue used to be the feminine color. :o

Kind of unrelated, but the overwhelming preference for the color blue is because the color is associated with the sky, heaven, stability, trust, calm, and wisdom.

...huh...I didn't know that...

I always grew up believing that anything pink was girly while anything blue was perfect for boys.

Ad men I guess are really careful at distinguishing between what is for boys and what is for girls.

However, I never realised that at one time, the roles were reversed.

Here's a link to an article about it:

Colors are colors. I don't see any masculinity or femininity in them.

Then again, my favorite color is green.

Fascinating... :o

I still wonder why girls (especially little girls) tend to like the color pink.

We learn associated colors by what we see and learn from parents, peers, media, and more. For example, in commercials for girls' toys, the overall background color is pink while in commericals for boys' toys, the overall background color is blue.

There's a lot of things you can blame the media for.

Yup. I've always liked blue, though. Not dark navy blue. Sky blue, or a vivid cerulean.
