Well today is the day.

The temperatures were a little colder then predicted. They fell to 26.4 degrees F ( -3.1 degrees C) last night. Interesting!! !!

I had been communicating with a man in Chicago. He was a free spirit and he found me and we began to communicate on the internet. He was obsessed with this date. It was a date of Planetary Alignment. All seven of Earth's neighboring planets will align in almost a straight line with the sun TODAY.

How to see 7 planets aligned during February’s ‘parade of planets,’ according to an expert

So I tried to understand what he was afraid of. At first it was earthquakes, volcanoes, all types of end of the world scenarios. We had some good conversations, but then when he found out that I did not get the latest vaccination shot, he said, "Goodby" and hung up the phone. STRANGE.

So today is the day. Keep your eyes open. I might be wrong and perhaps a great cataclysmic event will occur today. In general, a cataclysmic event probably occurs somewhere in space every single day. Perhaps this is our day, or perhaps not. Time will tell.

It should have been gone by now, but you'd never have guesssed given how cold it is here! This seems to be the new pattern, winter dragging on beyond february, but I don't mind as long as it stays dry.

Temperature here today might hit 16C. 8) May drop to -1C tonight at the worst. Nothing worse than that for the next 10 days, though there's a thunderstorm forecast on Tuesday. Hoping winter is over for this year. Back to tornadoes, snakes, infected ticks, and getting baked. I think I prefer the winter.

It was another cold night. The temperatures dropped down to 12.7 degrees F ( -10.7 degrees C) last night. But the ground is clear and there is no snow.

Protect yourself from infected ticks. A pandemic is on the horizon and ticks will be one of the transport agents.

I do, Jimmy. The locals don't seem even mildly concerned about ticks, and consider my aversion to be very strange.

It snowed again last night. But in general the air temperatures were slightly higher then freezing and the ground was still warm. So the snow hit the ground and immediately melted. So this morning, my yard is covered with snow. But it is only snow on top of branches, leaves, and on top of the house. I think everything will quickly melt away in the next few hours. So it feels like winter has lost its grip and we are at the edge of Springtime.

I've seen snow much later in the year than this.

It isn't even spring yet.

There are some places that can see snow any day of the year. Like in Hawaii.
