Continue. And proceeding means growing farther out, rather than disappearing. I'd go for proceeding myself.

Of the two, nail clippers. I keep them in my briefcase.

While I don't carry a Swiss Army Knife, I do carry a locking blade pocket knife that, as I just saw, needs a wipedown with the oil cloth.

Heights... While it would be visually disturbing, and very probably physically difficult to cope with. Ages...Nah I don't think I'd be able to mental wrap that one...
