Chewing the fat is a pretty standard expression for chit-chat...

to Serissa, I'm not sure thats all that accurate since you seem to be smiling so brightly in that pic of yours (i've never understood why so many upbeat people compare themselves to Daria????)

Yes, it is, and I should have scrolled back but I would have thought a quote would have clarified the context.

The next person will respond with a Simpson's quote, no matter how random.
