I think so

Han Solo or Luke Skywalker? (excuse the nerdy question but I'm watching The Empire Strikes Back and that was the only q I could come up with  )

Han Solo, by any measure of coolness.

Why do people like Star Trek?

I don't have much experience with absinthe, but that little was fun, so I guess I'll say a tentative, wary 'yes'.

Which annoys you more, people who "arbitrarily" put inverted commas around words (because they think they work like italics? I'm not sure) or people who arbitrarily put apostrophes in plural word's (because they think there's a certain quota they have to reach? I've no idea)? Or don't these things annoy you?

not really, I'm more annoyed by double negations (very popular among uneducated Poles) and semantically empty words

do you mind being corrected by others?

Not really, not on technical points of usage anyway, unless it's something pedantic like split infinitives, or I think they're just trying to annoy me. So, I guess that's kind of a yes actually.

Do you find it difficult to argue with people because you keep getting side-tracked into arguing about semantics, but it's really all their fault because they refuse to express themselves clearly & stick to the point?

I'm fairly psyched about Christmas. 2 days off work and presents. Woo!

There are two lighted deer in the lawn of my ex-husband's next-door neighbor, Christmas decorations. They are made of wire and Christmas lights and their necks move up and down like they are grazing.
Some random teenagers put one of them behind and on top of the other one, as if they were having sex.
Do you find that funny?

Oh god no. All that hassle plus the potential for electrocution, falls, and fires, and higher electric bills to boot? Forget it.
