My mom is going to call my psychiatrist tomorrow and she will mention that, I suspect it may have been caused by one of my meds. But I'm sure my psychiatrist will tell my mom if she thinks I need to see my regular doctor about it. We're not just ignoring it, my parents are definitely concerned about it.

My psychiatrist (and my therapist, who I mentioned all this to) thinks the lithium is causing all of these issues and so is dropping my dose on it, eventually getting me completely off it since we both agree that it doesn't seem to help me at all. My therapist said my arm-jerking thing sounded a lot like something I forgot the name of, but it's usually antipsychotics that cause it and I'm not on any of those. Well, I know that getting me off the lithium will at least get rid of my excessive thirst and subsequent excessive urination, because that's a problem I've had with it before. Hopefully I'll start feeling better after a day or two at the lowered dose (stepping down from 600mg to 300mg, then to 150mg, then stopping it).

I've been having a fair number of muscle twitches, but aside from that one time, I haven't really had anything occurring repeatedly in the same area, like a hand twitch or excessive blinking or anything. So I'm not too concerned about possibly having that, although it is mentioned as a possible side effect of several of my medications, so it's something that's on my radar, and I've asked my parents to let me know if they see me doing anything I might not be aware of that could be related to that.

Trying to stay awake until at least 9 (about 45 minutes) so I don't throw my med schedule off too much and so I can get the dog out if he needs to go before my parents get back from their outing. :tired:
