Around the turn of the century (did I really just say that lol) I was involved in a particular struggle and I did some pretty noteworthy things to advance the cause, but there were others who went on to do truly big things. I just read a tribute by one of them in which I was named as an important early participant, and that he got involved, in part, because I showed him what was possible! I did have a very cool name at the time.

Tonight is a dinner for my youngest...she's twenty now. I managed to get the house cleaned up, prepped the shells and cheese, got the bread baked, and the cake in the oven. All the dishes from that are cleaned up and all I have to do now is get myself cleaned up...and I still have three hours, so lots of time. Now I can sit for a few. Woot.

I put a lot of effort into some of my facebook posts, in which I describe in some detail what it's like to be autistic, or how my brain works, or whatever. For some people that I care about a lot, I get disappointed when they don't react or comment. I really wanted them to know this thing, and I have no idea if they even saw it, or if they saw it and didn't give a crap.

I'm making progress. This morning I notice but I don't care. If they don't care they can bite me.

I sometimes visit the wall of people I care about and check for things I may have missed. I'm pretty sure nobody does that for me. I should probably put that in the unhappy thread, but the people in whom I have an interest that isn't reciprocated? They can bite me, too.
