Oh well, looks like my immune-compromised sister has it and is at home with her three kids. She went to an NA meeting last week and sat next to someone who had a pounding headache. Meanwhile, I'm here with my mum who needs me to drive her to the hospital next week. Juggling responsibilities is going to be tricky.

hope the best for you and your family.........................

Thank you all, it's kind of you. I'm starting to suspect that my mum just has a fibroid, which can hopefully be managed before or after our health service becomes inundated. Stay safe.

My granddad doesn't have enough food.

See if you are too s**t a parent to raise your own kid? Do everything in your power to show gratitude to the people who DO raise your kid for you.

Fathers are the ones who donate sperm, dads are the ones who raise the kid.

My granddad is like a dad to me cos when mum was in hospital I lived at his house and he brought me up. Not as well as grandma did, they were old fashioned so she did the bulk, but enough to be a dad. Ever since and before that, he's done everything for me. Been an older family member to me. Supported me.

I really don't want to lose him through my bio dad's selfish, unthinking action.

Mum says 'don't blame your dad'. It's hard not to.

am on hold for future big decisions.... and no real good potential outcomes. but gotta keep a big public smile all the while // no amount of masking is gonna fix this but am gonna have to the entire time.

Many of us know how to mask, so we have an advantage here. Think of the panic among the majority of people who have no control over their emotions when things go wrong!
At least we are used to dealing with anxiety/stress etc.
I count my blessings...

He's gone from me being completely scared for him to completely angry with him in the space of a week.

Now he's going to his mate's flat...

It's like he doesn't get it.

About to Skype meet with my therapist instead of in person for the first time. I don't know why but I'm more nervous than usual. Probably just because it's different.

I have a piece of pen stuck in the back of my throat for 12 hours now.

I really need to invest in chew toys. :(

if you haven't already, try to gargle with warm water and spit it out, multiple times--? wonder if that would help
