Went over to Walmart for a couple pet supply and grocery things then decided to make a lap around the store.

Lo, and Behold! They had just set up their seasonal kite merchandiser! :D

(anyone who has been in my van has seen how "desperately deprived" of kites I am)

The ones I got were in the 11 dollar price range instead of the 5 dollar range on the visible sign.

Qualified on pole after expecting to be closer to mid-field. Lead most of the race before my pit stop and my pit strategy worked out pretty much as planned so that basically me and the Bimmer I was fighting with before pitting ended up back at the front of the field and when we came up on lapped traffic my Civic was able to sneak through better than his M3.

Next comes Mosport.

I can get groceries on Monday, so just a couple of days. Methinks I'll buy quite a few more cans of things. I have several bottles of booze. I suppose that's energy. I even have a collectable bottle of Sierra Tequila from several years ago that I won't be opening (this was back when I could afford it since the price went absurd very quickly).

Usual things that make me happy.

I found a 3d model of the Eagle Talon I can use for a mod. :nerdy:

A startlingly beautiful day, so perfect my breath catches in my throat. Ambled through the woods. Found an American Elm tree. A new species of viburnum. Oyster mushroom - yum for dinner. My soul was singing.

I may just be better with computers than I think. I think I fixed the laptop again, albeit I lost everything again (me no exactly wealthy, so a fix is better). :| Recovery was corrupted, but I worked around that one via waiting far too long with automatic repair as I know that can sometimes kick it to another recovery window depending. We'll see. Yeah, maybe fixing something that broke is where I am when it comes to what's making me happy right now.

I finally slept well and have the second part of my ASD assessment today. Plus, no more masks at work today.

Daydreams of a better life. Not really maladaptive when I'm as adaptive as I can get.
