Most of the dreams that I have were confusing and difficult to say in words. It's like I was in one place and somehow ended up in another, running into people that I've known or seen before. I remember a friend telling me that in his dream I was sucked into a whirlpool and was killed instantly, and that whirlpool was actually created by his other best friend. 8O.

This morning (10-2-2010 Saturday) I woke up half-way around 7:00 AM to my wife asking me if I wanted to go eat breakfast out somewhere. I dozed back to sleep and dreamed:

M two sons and I got in the van and took off to eat breakfast---but I forgot my wife. Half-way to the restaurant on this two-lane road there were big city directions signs and we got into heavy slow-moving traffic. A car almost rear-ended us. I got frustrated and turned my van around and started back home. I also realized I had forgotten my wife. But, we got kind of lost on our way back and ended up at the local country club. I entered the clubhouse and found it to contain many medium-sized rooms with a lot of furniture blocking the way. I found a large dining room which was quite dark. The people looked at me, and then I exited the clubhouse. Outside were many statues and a vending machine with a high price for a cola. I bought a cola and headed back to my van. There seems like there were more details in this dream, but that's all I can remember right now. Then I woke up.

Once again breakfast was discussed and I told my wife that I thought I had answered her about going to breakfast. I told her I must have dreamed it when I dozed back to sleep. I told her about the dream. She said that that was a lot to dream considering I had only dozed for 5 minutes.

i dreamt i was in some lavatory somewhere and sitting on "the throne" and trying to cough up some persistent phlegm that was choking me. i somehow was flexible enough to look under the closed door to the bathroom i was in, and i somehow saw that there was a fellow standing outside blocking the door, and he was wearing a herringbone-gray overcoat, brown trousers with cuffs, black thin socks and cordovan loafers. the carpeting was short-nap and brown and it looked like a hallway of a hotel or business office, from what i could see from under the door. then i awoke.

I don't remember the narrative of dreams as well as strong visual images but anyway here is from just before I woke up this morning.

I was inside a huge shark, so big you could walk through it with plenty of headroom. I had the sense it was an exhibition, but also

real. The inside walls were very pink like the inside of your mouth and heavily muscled. It was like walking down a meat tunnel and

there were spiraled rows of sharks teeth going back as you walked through. This exhibition was for those who had "hit the board"

which meant people who had been swallowed by this vast shark and were swallowed all the way down to the end. At the end was a

display with a stack of wooden shelves and rows and rows of human skulls like you'd see a picture of the skulls after the Khmer

Rouge. There were a few people who were represented by an object. One was a paperback book by an Asian author.

I dreamt I was at my old elementary school in the computer lab. My brother and some teenage girls were harassing me. When I looked down the staircase leading up to the computer lab, I saw a row of train tracks suspended in the air. On the tracks was an absolutely terrifying looking train-beast. It looked like a black train, but it had red eyes on its front and bull horns on the sides. The train whistled loudly and tried to run over my brother and the girls.

I ran down the stairs as fast as I could, and I saw that the train-beast was attached to the arm of Alucard from Hellsing (one of my former imaginary friends). I thanked him for protecting me, and he replied that it was his job. Then the Major (also a Hellsing character and former imaginary friend) appeared alongside Alucard. He also had a train-beast attached to his arm, but his was white instead of black, had black eyes instead of red and had ram horns instead of bull horns. The Major's train-beast also had legs instead of wheels, and it used them to climb on top of Alucard's train-beast and try to attack it. At this point I was still running away, so I didn't see what happened next.

Then I realized it was the end of the world and I tried to escape the school, but I couldn't. I saw a bunch of girls running into a dark girls' locker room, so I went in there too. I found my best friend there. Then we both got naked and had lesbian sex.

Then I woke up.

I was in a "BIG-LIPPED ALLIGATOR" room as Sonic, with Shantae and Tails. We were hanging around, playing Sonic Colors on the Wii.
Yakko burst in and said, "Hands up! It's the FBWB!" next to him were Wakko and Dot. They were armed with alien-esque pistols that shot boxing gloves.
"FB-WHAT!?" I asked, stunned.
"Federal Bureau of Warner Brothers," Yakko muttered under his breath.
"And the Warner sister!" Dot chimed in. "Call me Dotty, and you--"
"Not now," Wakko scolded.
"What do you want?" I inquired. Yakko gave a come on signal to Shantae. She tiptoed over.
"HELLOOOOOO, NURSE!" both he and Wakko crooned lustfully. "Can we call you Ma-MOO?"
"Ick. No!" Shantae thrusted both of them off.
"Pah. Boys," Dot sighed.
The Warner kids left. I watched as everything except me faded. I leapt down from the nothingness into Tropical Resort 1, which I finished in 53.452 seconds.
At least I don't ALWAYS get these dreams, I thought.
I woke up.

I thought my dream image was weird enough for at least some kind of response. Do you have to join a club or something? :hmph:

I've got a response:

well, you asked so i will try to contribute-

Aimless wrote:
"I was inside a huge shark, so big you could walk through it with plenty of headroom. I had the sense it was an exhibition, but also

Shark
To see a shark in your dream, indicates feelings of anger, hostility, and fierceness. Perhaps, you are struggling with your individuality and independence, especially in some aspect of your relationship. Alternatively, a shark represents a person in your life who is greedy and unscrupulous. This person goes after what he or she wants with no regards to the well-being and sensitivity of others. The shark may also be an aspect of your own personality with these qualities.

Exhibit
To dream that you are at an exhibit, suggests that you need to take a closer look at the various aspects of your life. The different exhibits symbolize the different facets of your personality.

Aimless wrote:

Walls
To see a wall in your dream, signifies limitations. obstacles and boundaries. There is a barrier obstructing your progress. Alternatively, the wall indicates that you are too accustomed to your old habits and way of thinking. You feel stuck.

Pink
Pink can mean immaturity or weakness, especially when it comes to love. Consider also the notion of getting "pink slipped". If you dislike the color pink, then it may stem from issues of dependency or problems with your parents.

Red
Red is an indication of raw energy, force, vigor, intense passion, aggression, power, courage, impulsiveness and passion. The color red has deep emotional and spiritual connotations. Consider the phrase "seeing red" to denote anger. Alternatively, the color red in your dream indicates a lack of energy. You are feeling tired or lethargic. Red is also the color of danger, violence, blood, shame, rejection, sexual impulses and urges. Perhaps you need to stop and think about your actions.

Meat
To see raw meat in your dream, represents obstacles and discouragements that you will come across as you move toward achieving your goals. Alternatively, it may reflect your untamed, animalistic nature and raw emotions.

Muscle
To see muscles in your dream, symbolize power, strength, and flexibility. You need to develop these qualities within yourself in order to become a more stronger and confident person.

Tunnel
To see a tunnel in your dream, represents the vagina, womb, and birth. Thus it may refer to a need for security and nurturance. To dream that you are going through a tunnel, suggests that you are exploring aspects of your unconscious. You are opening yourself to a brand new awareness. Alternatively, it indicates your limited perspective as in the phrase "tunnel vision". Are you being close minded or narrow minded in some issue? To not see a light at the end of a tunnel, symbolizes lack of hope. You believe in your heart that you will navigate through life and all its difficulties with great trepidation, in doubt that you will reach your goals.

Spiral
To see a spiral in your dream, indicates that some situation in your waking life is spinning out of control. Alternatively, a spiral represents your creative power and new idea. You are surrounded with creative energy. Teeth seems to mean one's power or sense of one's own self as an effective person. So it seems that the spiraling teeth [which is a reflection of your own self] might mean you feel your power is not in your own control, that you have an external locus of control, i.e., you are a victim of fate.

There were a few people who were represented by an object. One was a paperback book by an Asian author.

Shelfs
To see shelfs in your dream, represents the various levels of your mind where ideas, concepts, and memories are kept. It also suggests your need to acquire some information or knowledge in a situation before making your decision. It can also represent stored wisdom, one's own or from higher echelons.

Skulls
To see skulls in your dream, symbolizes danger, evil or death. Alternatively, a skull represents the intellect or secrets of the mind. You are keeping certain things hidden. Perhaps the skulls represent a warning to be careful, see the terminal mistakes other people made and avoid making similar ones. Bone up on basic psychology to get a better idea of what makes people in general tick, and learn to anticipate danger from other human beings who are all to easily swayed to the dark side. You may have a running fear of society going bonkers and attacking the more vulnerable members among them, and your dream is telling you to beware.

End
To dream of an end to something, represents an achievement or goal that has been reached. It may also mean that the bad times are coming to an end. Or perhaps your time is running out and you need to come to a decision about some issue. The end of something also signals the beginning of something new. You must find another way to achieve your goals because the current path is not working out. Alternatively, the dream may be telling you that you are going nowhere. Perhaps, the dream is symbolic of a dead end job or a dead end relationship. You need to reevaluate your options.

Book
To see books in your dream, indicate calmness. You are moving toward your goals at a slow and steady pace. Books also symbolize knowledge, intellect, information and wisdom. If the book is closed, then it represents your allure and mysteriousness. Consider the type of book for additional clues. To see an Asian book [or book by an asian author] in your dream, represents an aspect of your own self that is unknown to you. The dream may represent your calling into a specific field of work or an area that you need to devote more study to, including the workings of your own mind. Alternatively, the dream could be telling you not to judge a book by its cover.

i dreamt that i was being chased by a jalopy full of yahoos who were calling me "galactic mel" for some weird reason, and i ended up on top of a building where i had a sense of deja vu that i had been there repeatedly in the recent past. anyways, i was precariously making my way to the peak of the roof, which incidentally was strewn with piles of folded woolen blankets of various colors, which impeded my progress greatly. i made it to the peak of the roof where i tried my best to stay behind the rain gutters to make my way to a spot just above an open window that i could try to crawl in and get shelter and eventually make my way back downstairs to ground level. only "this time" i slipped and fell over the gutter and ended up back on the lower level of the roof below the peak. this made me so angry and frustrated that i wept, and bemoaned my fate at being a perpetual victim, when a loving and compassionate voice from my higher self told me that i should look upon the victimizers in my life as bad examples that i should be appreciative for, because they alone can demonstrate to my forgetful self quite vividly why i should keep striving to be good and to viscerally eschew evil. then i awoke.

i've had a lot of really intense and crazy dreams, but this one was the craziest, because it was a different type of recurring dream that occurred 4 times in 1 night.

the dream itself wasn't all to complex or anything, but every time i went back to the dream i retained the knowledge from the last dream, basicially like a groundhog day kind of situation.

the first dream, i was in a giant complex with lots and lots of people, and something happened, and the people just went apeshit, the place was wrecked, there were fires and crazed madmen running around in gangs, total anarchy. and the point of the first dream was to find out what caused all of it.

at the end of the first dream, i find out that someone started murdering people, but i don't know who yet. the second dream begins the same way as the first, only i know what to look for this time, and i start to notice a certain person acting suspiciously, a woman who looked just like lauren graham from "gilmore girls", to the extent of where i referred to her as lorelai when asking about her to the other people in the dream. around the middle of the second dream, i start to see the s**t she's causing and start to see the murders occur, but i never get the chance to stop her before the dream ended.

the third dream and the fourth dream are kind of blurred together in my memory, the third i think i went back with the knowledge of the murderer, but i am still unsuccessful in stopping them. honestly, the only reason i know there were 4 dreams was because in the 4th dream (this is where s**t gets craziest) i remember telling someone "this is the 4th time i've visited this dream" and i also remember telling someone "i know i don't have to be here, if i want to leave all i have to do is wake up" which, coupled with other faint memories of the dream, indicates that subconsciously, i chose to keep visiting those dreams and i was determined to change the course of events set in motion in the first dream, although i now realize that there was nothing i could do to change the dream, which might explain why i went back to it so many times.

i don't know much about dreams, but i have some strange abilities with them, for example, if i ever have a dream i don't like, i can wake up on the spot. many dreams i've had where i was about to die, i've purposely bailed on to prevent myself from having to see it. it's pretty weird...

In light of all the dreams posted I wanted to post this link-I read the book many years ago. It's interesting stuff.
http://www.prismagems.com/castaneda/donjuan9.html

The book btw is The Art of Dreaming by Carlos Castaneda.
It's either last or close to last of the series of books by him.
