This is a great thread, like Zen I just spent a couple hours listening. Its a shame that some links don't work any more.
I might try doing this later-on, I just do not have a clue what my region would be considered any more :? since I lived all over Canada, spent some time in the US and now I am in Wales. Unfortunately I have not picked up anything like an accent from the British Isles, maybe after a couple more years.

I'll post mine, but the audio and video are horribly out of sync.

nice video. I love the intelligence that being an aspie adds to everybodies accent. It really makes me feel closer to people. i'm finding that once someone posts here i just start to notice their every post from then on. I just wish i had a camera/an ounce of bravery so maybe people would warm to me. cya around tom :)

SammichEater, i tried and tried to place your accent, but i completely failed. i really don't know american accents. i thought i could hear a little bit of Georgia, and i thought i could hear a little bit of Arizona, but those 2 accents are completely unrelated so i am going to have to throw in the towel here. where the heck are you from?

Actually, you are mostly right. I was born in Florida, but I did live in Arizona for 3 years. I'm not really *from* anywhere specifically, which is why my accent is a compilation of many different accents.
