Dana was dreaming:

She was in her room, her brother in the doorframe, teasing about how he is going to find her rabbit and make it into a stew. She goes to the basement to check on the rabbit she was caring for. It was hidden in a lunchbox, underneath a pile of other boxes. She takes the lid off and freezes at the sight before her eyes. Laying on top of a soft towel near some thoughtfully placed food and water was the worm ridden body of a baby rabbit. She takes a long look at the fat, live maggots and places the lid back on, hoping that when she takes it off again a better reality will confront her. Mellisa, her baby sister was watching from the stairwell.

Humans realize that the question,"why is there something rather then nothing" has no answer. It is not that we are too dumb to know the answer. It's that there is no answer!! The cornerstone of our sanity, the law of the excluded middle therefore vanishs and people finally relax and enjoy their insanity.

True, but that is not an explanation as to WHY there is something rather then nothing. Similarly, if I asked," where did that rock come from that is in your hand?" And you answered, "I know that it exists because it is in my hand." That would not really be an answer to my question
