I love everything about Christmas, but I can see why a lot of Aspies don't care for it.

Our parents ask us what we want for Christmas and than we clam up, because we can't ask for anything to do with our special interests. That would get us into trouble. As a result, our parents might give us gifts that suit them instead of us.

Second of all, all these people come and they don't know how to be quiet. Sometimes they have nothing but nasty things to say to the Aspie if they screw up socially. They're not shy about pointing out our mistakes.

Even though I love Christmas, I can see why many of you don't care for it.

I'm a little relieved that Christmas is over. I've been less upset about Christmas being over over the past 2 years. Maybe next Christmas will be better for everybody in my family. This Christmas has been better for me than the two other ones before this year.
