When you have a song stuck in your head but you only hear five notes and no words, and you have absolutely no way to identify it. It's been driving me nuts for about 24 hours. End this madness.

this is the best, i have found, at IDing a song without access to the original audio, it gives you multiple ways of entering the notes.

I was thinking of something in the morning, something that was bothering me and I was planning on writing about it here, in this topic, but I completely forgot what it was. Now I'm just annoyed that I can't remember.

There is a huge pandemic, back in eigth grade not sure I saw this as a catalyst. I knew something had to go wrong but admittedly I was not thinking it would be a pandemic that did it.

I'm about to get seriously obsessed with Genealogy again. I just have a few other obsessions to lay aside first. I already collect old photos of my ancestors, antique frames, and piles of notes about their lives. I'm looking forward to designing a large family tree diagram in the form of a wall mural, to link all the connections together.

I wish mine was a little easier to trace. Have a family tree from my maternal grandmothers side (don't personally have access to it, though). Everything else is nearly impossible to track down.

This is my dad's side of the family! My uncles and dad end up talking a lot about these things whenever they meet up.

Interesting. I can trace my maternal grandmother's family well, but not anyone else. That's probably why I identify so strongly with my Abenaki heritage and family, it's literally the only family I know.

We have a long family tree confirmed by my grandfather's brother who spent years checking.

moms side goes back to the Ansars of Madinah in Prophet's time
Who were nicer than Makkans.

. Which is funny that my XH's family is actually called Ansari.

So you'd be distant cousins? I remember when I was younger I had a friend from up in Nunavut and she always mentioned how she didn't want to date any Dogrib men because they're all her 2nd and 3rd cousins. Personally I don't really care about that level of familiarity since even first cousins don't matter unless it happens every generation.

My twin started doing this several years ago, but things got muddy. One of my maternal family members (I think my great-grandma) seems to have vanished from public records at one point, and/or changed her name without notice. We know she didn’t die before that time. We think something happened and she tried to keep on the down low to protect herself, but it was difficult to keep track of things. My maternal family side always seems to end up running away from things.

I have 23 and Me, and some second cousins have appeared, my biological paternal grandfather, and confirmation that my twin and I are, in fact, identical. We always thought we were fraternal.
