I had a horrible meltdown when my brother was trying to tell me what to do while starting up my new computer and I had anxiety and frustration by all the changes. I had to re-enter all my passwords. I hate passwords. I also had to enter a code on my Amazon account that was sent to me by phone. And then I had to do the same for my bank account and I chose e-mail which they said would take three minutes but I never got it even though I asked to resend it several times. I will try again tomorrow.

My brother just quietly left while I was still raging. What a great way to start the new year I must be a sociopath. I get overwhelmed just by the sound of human voices talking to me when I'm trying to figure something out, they should just leave me alone.

You have my empathy. I hate that shite too. I'm really, really bad with tech and passwords.

I have an issue because I got my daughter's hand-me-down phone and laptop a few years ago. She thought she wiped them both clean but they must have still thought I was her. Some sort of Google account or something? Even though I have all my own accounts. As a result I ended up with thousands upon thousands of photos of her disgusting pig of an ex from when they were together almost ten years ago, and thousands upon thousands of selfies of her best friend who is a prima donna. I didn't notice them straight away because they were a few years behind my own photos.

The problem was when I suddenly got messages that my Google account was frozen because it was full. I couldn't use gmail or even take a picture anymore until I got rid of her stupid pictures which were two people thousands of times each. I tried everything in the past year including deleting them one at a time from the phone and / or the laptop because you can't mass delete, and many of my own pictures were somehow mixed in between hers from my phone / laptop that I was using when she still had hers. I guess it overlapped our accounts and mashed them all onto the devices. It took me about 24 hours each time to delete them one at a time and then I'd think everything was fixed, but then POOF the freaking things would come back and freeze my phone / laptop again.

Then I got a new phone last week and thought I would definitely be rid of the problem but it all transferred onto my new phone and froze me out AGAIN. No email access. No camera access. Google wanted money for me to go over limit. I deleted every email I had ever sent or received and put all the photos into Cloud, but even that didn't work. I deleted the Google Photos app and that didn't work. She deleted me from her family Apple plan but that deleted my entire Apple Music account and I had no music but I still had her freaking pictures.

So help me God -- how can images go across devices and exist for all eternity like that even when I've deleted them at least 20 times each and cleared my trash?

I think I finally got rid of the stupid things but don't even start me on how much I hate tech.

I can't get into my bank account on my new computer because it's locked. It said to call the number on my debit card. But when I did I got the usual aggravating bunch of recordings telling you what to do instead of a live person who I could tell I just want access to my online account. I get it, they want my account to be secure, but even if someone did break into it they'd be mighty disappointed by the usual lack of money.

Maybe my mother can help, but she had to get her second shingles vaccine today so she's probably not feeling well and I don't want to disturb her. Especially since after my meltdown in front of my brother last night and I'm still almost ready to go on a shooting spree. Good thing I don't live in the US or own a gun.

My bank set me up with voice recognition so when I phone them I don’t have to answer the same slew of annoying ID questions for each of the 25 people they connect me to. The idea was to save me from meltdowns triggered by the requisite hour of bad porno hold music and repetitive prompts prior to said questions.

The voice ID never works, so they still need to know my life story and that of my mother’s ancestors before they’ll even ask what I want.

I was on a website where people can post rants about almost anything they want (as long as it's not racist), and there was some horrible post by someone who claimed they "accidentally married" someone with Asperger's and how much they hated them and that the Aspie has ruined their life. And what's even worse, the post had one of the highest amounts of likes, more than dislikes, and most replies agreed with the OP and were overflowing with hate. It was like something off that hate site about Aspie Husbands or whatever.

It's a good thing I chose to remain anon when I mentioned in a rant of my own that I'm "mildly" autistic. People clearly still think aspies can't be female, anyway.

My mom accused me of not telling her that I rescheduled a doctor's appointment.
