I got some repairs done. ^

Finally some lights in the laundry room (They’ve been nonfunctional for about a year so we had to move by echolocation and carry a big stick), the clocks are drilled securely to the wall instead of hanging on pushpins, and my daughter finally has a doorknob that locks.

I am blessed.

I hate my new computer. I can't log into Steam or get my Sims 4 games running. I can't get my scanner to work. I have no one who knows about computers enough to help me. My brother did but he's back in New Brunswick and he probably never wants to be near me again after my meltdown last week.

I still can't get into my bank account. The other day my mother came over to give me a and by calling their help number. It was agony. They make you wait for about half an hour to talk to a real person, and when someone did answer I had trouble understanding him because his accent was so heavy, which just added to my phone anxiety. And then they said we have to go to the bank to straighten everything out, which we can't do until Monday.

Technology makes life so much easier and more comfortable. Not.

Some foil hat wearing genius saying allowing MAID in Canada is really the government's attempt to save money and not because people who are terminally ill and suffering horribly just want to die and finally be at peace.

I don't get why people who are incurably and miserably sick, physically and mentally are choosing assisted death is such a big deal. It's perfectly acceptable to euthanize a dog or cat that is suffering but when it's a human people get all Mother Theresa on you and say it's extremely wrong to die an "unnatural death" but humans must suffer horribly until they do die. I see no difference, but if humans are supposed to suffer then I guess I'm going to hell just for taking a Tylenol for a headache.

I’m in a lot of pain and can barely move.

I read it’s normal for rib fractures to hurt more over time. People tense up and sprain their backs and in-between-rib muscles after a few days of awkward movement.

I’m sorry for your pain too. ^ :(

It’s my own fault, for thinking I could undecorate my tree.

Damaged and defective bodies seem to be the thing of the moment.

I am unhappy with, frustrated with, the wrinkles which my own is throwing in to life.

Although there is plenty of pain to be unhappy about the thing really, really, really, bugging me is that my defective body gets in the way of being creative and making things.

Very sorry to hear, Is! Hope you have good pain relief & an icepack in a teatowel there to help reduce swelling/pain. Really feel for you, knowing all too well what this feels like. xx

It’s a bit better again thanks, so long as I don’t bend, twist, laugh or cough.

Apparently it’s normal to feel better in the day and worse at night.

At least something about me is normal.
