LMAO. It wasn't sexual and all made good sense, but it was really hard to keep a straight face.

To be honest being a bloke I wonder what they were thinking..

With you being a female ... if it was a bloke giving that advice I’d be slightly suspicious .. maybe it was done in suggestive way .. or tongue in cheek way ?

Can’t think of anyone so naive to say those specific things with a straight face

Actually, forget regular intervals in regards to my current lifestyle. Nothing consistent and planned sticks.

After our first OT session she sent me a really long sensory survey. It generated a ten page clinical report about my Sensory Processing Disorder and all of its subcategories. I didn't know it would be so specific, and scientific. She is sending me a copy of the questions with my answers, and the report, so I can pass along the questions to WP. I've never seen questions like these in an online survey form before. I honestly wish this OT would work full-time on Zoom for WP. She's really great and I bet we could all benefit from her strategies. I'm only telling you the funny parts but she's an incredible resource when it comes to OT and sensory regulation / executive function.

I'm sure she was trying not to laugh too. I pretended I was writing it down so I could look away from the screen and not laugh in her face. I'm usually very flat affect so it would have made me uncomfortable to burst out laughing on Zoom.

Chances are if she said the same to a NT woman they'd both laugh, but I'm really guarded and straight-faced in that way.

A few weeks ago I had to get topless on Zoom with a man, to put on my own heart monitor.
That was pretty interesting too. lol. He wasn't even a doctor, but a nurse / rep from the monitor company.

As someone who could see (pediatric) OT practice close up and had read a number of books related to the topic for most part... Along with asexuality...

I dunno.
The first thing that comes to my mind is literally medical.
I can't seem to develop a strong perverted mindset. :| In spite of years of exposure it'll initially still over my head.

Does this online survey posted elsewhere? :D
It's fine if isn't.
But one day I'd find one as soon as I own a room of my own. I prefer any stimming and sensory practice of mine private.

I can't ask the OT I've known -- he's my SPED teacher's husband -- because I'm not one of his current clients.
Can't bother him at any rate, because I've known him for being very overworked as it is, along with something personally strained and few details that don't favor my case much... :|

Not to mention I'd prefer WP a secret.

Trying to write a letter, and basically getting nowhere with it. Frustrating.

My job really, really sucks for me lately. It's a repeat of last summer when I was essentially working 2 jobs. Deja vu.
I'm over it.
At least I get paid more now though.

The cycle's getting to me. Now my lower back hurts.

Or maybe I'm just hungry. Or maybe I'm neglecting my kidneys.
My bedtime is now 4:30AM. It's barely 4AM here right now.

I can't exactly sleep as soon as I tried and for hours.
My body just feels all the weight of my body against the bed. My head and neck just easily start to hurt after half a minute or so.
Whatever caused the heartburns or some bladder discomfort never helped, as if I've been coping with it all night as I've been asleep.

Either as my body clock dictates or be very exhausted.
Sigh.

ads really make me flip my s**t, i know i say the same stuff over and over but well, they aren't going away. when i was a kid i used to make fun of them for not making any sense, like the advertisers were too stupid to realise, i see some stupid BS that they paid so much for me to see and i think, how is this supposed to convince me of anything, but what i know now is it isnt supposed to do that, that's not how they work, and i get really offended about this. i hate the graphics, i hate the catchy dialogue. i hate the tones of voice of these f*****s, excited, compassionate, they are trying to manipulate my emotions one way or another. i hate how they try to be funny, i hate how people celebrate 'funny ads'. when i like anything about an ad, i just get sad that its an ad, and talent got wasted on an ad. i hate when they license bad music and i have to hear it in the background over and over and over, i hate when they license good music and now i will forever think of some f*****g ad every time i hear that song ever again. i hate the way they edit the music, the ads are so short, so they take the 'exciting part' and play it as a short hit, quickly fade out the audio immediately after, just completely tearing apart the art of the music, ruining sustained notes so the next ad can come in and start talking loud again, hearing that s**t is like tripping over in a dream. i hate how theres so many tones and approaches and 'stories' but they all converge to trying to sell me some stupid s**t. i hate how i cant go anywhere without seeing the f*****g things, tv or radio always producing background noise, billboards all over my f*****g public space, theres always a box of pet food in my home that says "don't just feed them - nourish them" and it doesnt f*****g mean anything and whoever came up with it knows that and doesn't care, and sometimes even trying to get to sleep i hear some f*****g catchy jingle.

i hate how its subconsciously influencing everything i do, i have literally had food cravings based on ads the tv blasted at me while i was sleeping. i hate advertisers, one of the worst professions, sh*****g up the place and enabling everything the cigars do and exploiting everyones mental issues, and they dont even seem to realise they suck.
