I've thought about Germany. I don't function very well, though. Have SSI here, otherwise I would be on the street. Not sure what I'd be able to manage elsewhere that I haven't been able to do here.

I wish... That my family out there would give the same thought. :P

But I can't blame them for not doing so. It's all they've known, it's also what they are taught to prioritize about.
Or that they 'earned' such 'priviledge', they wouldn't simply turn back and 'waste' the labors of their 'effort' in order to stay there 'for good'. :|

Farming while Black - a book that has how to and history in it. I haven't read it yet, but I just heard an interview with the author and purchased a kindle copy. It interests me because it is about growing things, farming, and the tradition of black farming, bringing over to what is now the US seeds and plants from their own land and that has influenced all our food preferences and what grows in tropical areas.

I am hoping to learn from this about plants and about history and the place of black farmers in history. This is my recognition of Juneteenth.

It's fascinating that I'm not the only one who thinks like this.

There's no law saying I have to treat fascist sensibilities & talking points like the bunny I swerved around on my way home today.

If people suddenly resent me because I don't roll over & sugarcoat everything in the face of a psychotic regime that threw kids in cages before destroying the medical establishment which could have protected people from hybridized virus outbreaks, should I pay them any mind?

I find many outdated attitudes to be oppressive nonsense the law says I don't have to put up with, so now it's somehow offensive to "patriotic" types that I don't?

Freedom of speech is not a one way street full of radar traps. Neocon doublethink doesn't scare me.

Get off my lawn.

Careful, those views aren't politically correct around the allegedly anti-PC crowd.

Feeling like I haven't been on here a lot. I finally was able to find a job and so far, it seems to be going pretty well. I'm working at a bottle and can redemption center and it involves a lot of sorting in the back for me and I don't have to interact much with people. Only issue is it gets a little messy sometimes but I wear rubber gloves luckily to help. They gave me this weekend off too which is cool.

NTs are absolutely stupid.

Everyone I know who will talk to me about intellectual things is either autistic or has kids or family members who are autistic. The latter might be NT but probably have higher autism genes than the rest of the population. Or maybe they're undiagnosed aspie.

Meanwhile, in the midst of a pandemic, a bunch of extroverts think it's fun to go to our local park and shoot up and get drunk. No social distancing, of course.

No wonder Greta struggles to get through to such people about something as long distance and far away as global warming. They don't even understand the virus...

Almost like if all your hobbies are socialising, drink and drugs, you might be a bit thick.

They get butthurt about things being 'offensive to right wingers'. Sorry but right wingers isn't a demographic, it's a choice.

Sooner they all sod off to Permel or whatever it's called the better. Leave social media/forums that everyone uses to the rest of us.

I'm thinking this is a pretty accurate assessment. Although I've had in-depth conversations with NTs they do appear to be few and far between. I wouldn't say they are stupid but appear to lack the attention span for such an interaction.

Yeah, I don't necessarily mean ALL NTs are stupid. More that the kind of person who gathers near a bridge in the hundreds to get drunk without socially distancing in the middle of the pandemic is likely to be extremely NT/extroverted and ALSO extremely stupid.

Just drink at home and get a proper hobby alongside it. Zoom with friends if you're lonely.

I gathered as much. We have the same "NT" type in mind. :D
