All the same to me.

Intolerance vs intolerance.
It perpetuates itself, generates more effects, multiplies in it itself by dividing and attempting to conquer another.

I understand the point of the mass yelling contests.
But it won't do much in a long run, really. Because little do people know...

It's panic vs panic.
Anger vs anger. Dislike vs dislike.


Not that I'm complaining about it -- as I've said, I like the chaos.
But how about those who can't stand it, hm?

Would you drop the argument altogether, swallow your pride, control your panic for those who wants peace and harmony above else?
At some point, I would.

A spice of chaos is one thing.
But getting caught up in some wave like war who can yell the loudest and who has the sharpest tongue...? It's their funeral.

Like any wars: There are no winners. Only casualties.
In this case, only limiting at this very forum: the mentally fatigue, the emotionally wounded, the 'support-less' because this person doesn't feel safe anymore.

Gah, very nearly everything turns into a political debate these days! There’s nowhere for the people like me who refuse to take part to hide, anything is fair game. Half thinking I need to add “no politics allowed” to the thread on my health just to get ahead of it - but then I’m the one who mentioned politics, and there will also be debates about banning politics from certain areas It used to be safe as long as I stayed out of PPR, but not anymore.

A lot of people have been very effective in proliferating hate speech in vague & readily deniable ways. It's been a recurring theme for them to steer political threads into deeply offensive subject matters in order to score the last word.

I am considering leaving WP because it is no longer a refuge for me. However, it is also my only source of socialization besides immediate family and one friend (who I actually met here), so I don’t know if I’ll be able to force myself to completely give it up.

Will at least stay until I can get a final word on the lump on my neck so I can tell anyone who cares, may pop in occasionally to give a health update so anyone who cares knows I’m not dead, but if the atmosphere of this site does not improve in my opinion, may not be around for much else. Or maybe I’ll be just as active as I have been since I first started posting (was an exclusive lurker for several years before I finally worked up the courage, now I can’t keep my mouth shut ). I just don’t know. Just, nobody freak out if I disappear for a while, which I may or may not do.

Can't people, simply able to separate social ideas and ideals, along with thoughts, beliefs, emotions, sentiments...

From political ideals???
I mean come on.
You can ask the law to enforce and practice ethics.

But you can't ask the law to enforce and practice empathy.
Yet to enforce and practice antipathy -- anyone knows which direction that would go.

People here screams their version of empathy. But both forms are not very compatible because half the time, they're not exactly practicing empathy from another but are projecting towards everyone.

I injured my back at my new volunteer gig So I am in healing my back mode. Luckily I still have muscle relaxers from the last time this happened. I’m also icing it & putting my feet up, but I might take a walk later as gentle movement helps. I’m worried I’m not physically able to do the jobs though.

My friends keep buying the same books as each other and it's putting me off those books. I don't want to be part of a monolith so even if I'm reading about the same subjects, I'll go for slightly less well known books.

That's the thing though, politics infiltrates into every aspect of life. It's okay to ignore it, but it's an unfortunate side effect of civilizations.

Anyway, I'm not thinking about this today.
I'm thinking about how much I'm dreading my divorce hearing today but it has to be done.
I'm also dreading work tomorrow.
I want to go swimming so badly, but all the pools are closed. I'm thinking of trying to plan a vacation in September, since the one in May didn't happen. Sigh.

I just don't know what to look forward to anymore.

The concept "you're either with us or against us" is the clear lack of a concept.

... The whole household's having some insomniac night or something.

It's almost 3:30am, yet my mom's awake upstairs, my sister's awake at her room, while I'm downstairs binging movies and series.
