My husband has nearly finished repainting our kitchen cupboards and drawers. After 20+ years they definitely needed a refresh. And the hi-tech paint you can get now days has really improved the look of them, they were old and grotty.

I took the bus home from school without my mother's assistance. (This is quite an achievement for me, as I depend on my mother to be there for me if anything goes wrong.)

My moonstone plant Luna is still alive a few months after I got her. She's thriving in the hot weather + after being in the proper soil mix and pot for a couple months.

My cat lets me hold him now, and he likes to lay directly on me. He's a massive cat though so the second thing isn't as nice.

I've found inner peace in the shape of a Stahlhelm instead of in the form of a flower filled meadow. My 55th Anniversary of The Summer of Love is ending with a boom instead of on a note. It's a good sign. This means that I know exactly who I am. Mrs. Johannes was right. What works for everybody else might not work for me. If the 40s work for me better than the 60s, so be it. It is what it is. Bless her heart. I wonder what she's up to these days.

Tattletale tom did not go to work today or yesterday

Zero annoying or angry customers, day laborers or slaves today

Bowel movement at work, even after only two servings tortilla and one chicken

My daughter passed all her 8 final school subjects! She did about 19 exams in 2 months.

She has fought through numerous challenges in life: she was seriously ill aged 2-7, she was diagnosed with autism aged 15, most of her secondary school life was disrupted by the pandemic, she has anxiety and needed counselling.

But she did it! She is a warrior.
