I've learned what a virtual signal is and that not all virtual signals are bad.

My friend thinks I'm possibly the best girl runner on the team right now. She's got a lot more experience than I do so her comments mean something. I've amazed myself because I definitely don't have the genes for it. I have just been doing more training than many of the other members. I think I'll have clocked 60km by the end of the week. I am training for a marathon or ultramarathon, depending on what division I'm placed in. I'm so pleased with my progress. I can't believe I can do this. I thought I had peaked last year. But I just keep getting better and better.

I managed to interact with my coworkers pretty easily today.

As I was walking home, I've noticed an old woman sitting on the bench. She was the same dark-haired woman who usually sits there and she was talking to the ignorant woman in the walker yesterday. I looked her in the eye and I said to her, "That woman with the walker had quite the mouth on her." My mind is no longer walking the streets of London.

f**k I've had a fantastic night. Good food, drink and live music and now I've come home to a lovely cup of tea and a bar of chocolate.
