Read a list of 'dangerous toys from the 90s' and it's stupid.

Only ones that made sense were Sky Dancers and Skip It. I remember being scared of sky dancers as a kid and covering it up in 'it's a girl toy' to my cousins. I'd already heard stories about people having their eyes put out by them. The article says 'nobody would actually play with them inside', that's not true my cousins played with them in 'the children's bedroom' at granddad's.

And skip it was dangerous if you were dyspraxic and prone to falling but you could say that about a bike without stabilisers or about roller skates. If a kid wasn't dyspraxic or something like that, it would be fine.

Other ones:
Don't give little tiny kids magnets. Pretty sure it said '3+' anyway. Babies put anything with small parts in their mouths, magnets aren't special.
Moon shoes weren't dangerous if you were on grass
If a kid doesn't have an intellectual disability/pica and is seven plus, they should be able to understand not to eat magnets or put them in their nose or ears or whatever...
Bubbles aren't dangerous lol. Maybe they're made of toxic stuff for the environment but all the plastic toys are 'dangerous' by that metric. Thought they were made of soap and water anyway?
I was dyspraxic and used pogo jumpers in: playtime, PE and physio. Pretty sure my physio wouldn't have given me them if they were dangerous.

Some people are really coddling their childhood selves lol or trying to compete with their parents' lists from the early 00s of 'dangerous toys from the 70s' which contained some actual dangerous stuff.

I was one of the most cautious and dyspraxic kids out there and seriously a lot of the stuff on the list just didn't phase me or endanger me at all. I get that disabled kids exist but these lists seem to be made with NT, non disabled kids in mind and they don't work for that.

How on earth do we have a cold and if we have colds then does that mean we can get the virus too? We have been really really careful. I feel like it's my fault for not washing my hands one time after opening a parcel.

Guy posts his just eat order on whats app. His 'friend' calls up and says 'actually send that to [his own address] instead'. Posts a video of him eating it and laughing...

How is that a friend?

Why are people laughing at it?

That's just mean Will he expect his friend to pay for it?

I am so glad friends are pretty much expendable for me if they do wrong stuff cos I would dump a friend over that.

It doesn't matter where; social media full of gags or a suicide support forum, or out of the blue...

Anyone who'd takes it too literally would be very worried or upset for various reasons and speculations that came with it.
They may thought, I'm being stupid or suicidal and may actually do it.
Of course they'd be offended if they found out it's a joke.

Anyone who doesn't either takes it as a metaphor that I had enough or interpret it as a joke. And may even say 'do it!!' or 'die!!'.
Of course these people don't expect me to jump off the building.
But they'd be dead shock if I actually mean it.


Former thinks the latter is being insensitive or sociopathic, accuse them of trolling or worse.

Latter thinks the former is being a stick in the mud and cannot take a joke, saying they overreact and cannot handle*(social contexts).


How to distinguish??? Contexts.
But there's no clear contexts, wouldn't?

Day 2 without my medicine
It's all I can do to stay up right awake
Can't get any work done like this.

^The pharmacy had to order more and it's taken longer than they expected. It's a controlled substance (adderall) so they make people wait until they run out before filing a new prescription. It's a monthly nuisance, but of all my meds it helps the most. (It's for adhd, but it also reduces my POTS symptoms because it's a vasoconstrictor).

Trying contact lenses now.

For the last 30 mins... Well..

It was as I'd imagine seeing things from afar.
And now I got issues with seeing close up, which as I intended, because when I go to work and in hopes of curbing my time over the phone.

Then...
I can feel a bit on the eyes. Nothing painful or annoying at all, I just feel it. And sometimes it blurs a bit. I'm still getting used to it after all.
At least it's weightless.
Then noticed few distortions, or rather, NOT distortions. One of which is the virtual keyboard is bigger than I usually seen it.
