On a opposite note, does anyone know what happened to the "say something mean" thread? I can't find it. Me and stlf were having fun with that one...

What, was this the "Say something mean about the person above you" or soemthing thread? I wouldn't be surprised if something like that gets locked pretty soon.

Through looking at the profile and recent postings of Prometheus, I have come to the conclusion that he has a firm grasp of the very fine art of saying something which is ridiculous either in content or delivery and having it not only be funny, but also, dignified.

((The sketches and movies done by Monty Python are a good example of such humor, to add to the compliment a hundredfold.))

BTW, the "mean" thread was only a joke. It gave us a chance to practice our sarcastic wit. I would like whoever deleted it to reinstate it as long as we don't get into personal insults or anything like that. (Which, BTW, there was a disclaimer that said that anyone who got offended easily was recommended not to post, so no harm done, it was only a joke.)
