It's the makers pandering to the owners needs/wants rather than the animals, and sometimes they get it really wrong.

My mother developed excruciating dental pain about two weeks ago. She'd had an earache prior to it and they seemed connected. Dentist couldn't find anything wrong but referred her to oral surgeon who couldn't do a proper exam or xrays because the tooth hurt too much to examine. He scheduled an extraction for today and gave her antibiotics.

On Sunday she finished the antibiotics and felt fine. She begged me to call the oral surgeon and cancel so she wouldn't lose a tooth unnecessarily. I kept saying "Are you sure?" and of course she was sure. She rang me yesterday to remind me to cancel it. She rang me after I cancelled it to make sure I cancelled it.

Today she rings me to see if I cancelled it because the pain is back and she's ready for me to drive her to the oral surgeon. I tell her it's cancelled like she requested. She freaks out and tells me she needs it because she's in pain again. The oral surgeon can't reschedule her until the end of July and already thinks we're crazy for needing an emergency appointment and then cancelling it and now wanting it back. My mother is ragging on me asking why I cancelled it.

Now she's decided it's likely her ear and it isn't even her tooth because her ear hurts again so now I have to take her to the GP to get her ear checked on Friday and she wants to know if the GP can diagnose dental problems because she's not sure which one it is.

She's still angry with me for cancelling the dental for today.

Just kill me now.

It smells like smoke outside and it's hazy enough to notice it.

I made dinner, I put it on my walker seat, I was sitting down to eat & my dinner fell on the floor, I made bologna sandwiches & potato salad, I started to cry, it was a big mess, I cleaned it up before my cat came over, I also had anxiety.

I barely slept last night…again.

Anyway, the dog of The Anonymous Household will be euthanized later today between 2 PM & 4 PM.

Mom didn't listen to the opinions that my NT sister & I had.

I got the remake for Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life and I am so disappointed.

At work today, I found one of the two, two day old goslings struggling in a puddle, it was tangled up in vegetation and the geese looked totally unconcerned about it. I handed it over to someone who could look after it. At the end of the day I found the other gosling dead in the same puddle / ditch. A couple of days ago we were cooing over the new arrivals.

Got no money.

I feel you on that one. Meh. Messed up part, I kinda hate money and it intimidates me or something. I'd prefer to not have much of it. But damn you just need a certain amount to be comfy and not stress stuff. And when the lack is there, it's rough and can really get to you.
