I read that there actually are people who only have seasonal allergies during one season. Some are allergic to specif things like certain plants that only bloom & grow during a certain time of year like spring or summer. Others like me are allergic various things growing & blooming & also things dying like leaves falling off & rotting. I saw an allergy specialist like half a year after I moved from Louisiana to Vermont & the guy kept asking me various questions about the times of year when my allergies are worse. I had a problem cuz the climate in Vermont is VERY different compared to Louisiana. Some things in Louisiana can start growing & flowering at the end of winter & start dying in the summer cuz of the high temps, especially if there is a drought. Also farmers burn sugarcane in the fall & maybe early part of winter. Whereas Vermont is more typical with allergies cuz things grow & bloom in the spring & summer & die in the fall.
What wondrous mythical beings these single season allergy sufferers must be

. I shall go on a quest to find one and offer a trade of immune systems.
Everytime I get tested for allergies they are different. My body is the devil. I had even worse allergies as an adolescent. Everyday I was in misery with constant sneezing, runny & stuffy nose, and horrible post-nasal drip that put me on constant sensory overload. Then suddenly one year it vanished (even though my environment stayed the same). Now it's been getting more frequent again, but luckily not quite as severe. But on top of my other health issues it's a real pain.
I hope to move to a less allergy dense place soon!
