I met an autistic woman on a cruise ship. We were sharing a room and it was the first time I ever met a person who shared / understood all my peculiar sensory issues. I was so glad to have found her. At the end of the dream I told her "Gee I can't even remember your name, but I know you will understand because you're likely face blind too .... and you wouldn't be offended if I've forgotten". Her name was Jason. She showed me a name tag.

In real life I've never met another autistic woman but I did know a woman with a variant of Jason for her name.

The original "Jason" was the Jason of "Jason and the Argonauts". Don't know about you, but that's the first thing I always think of when I hear about someone named "Jason".

That Jason was a sea captain who lead his crew on the quest to seize the Golden Fleece, which necessitated a long voyage full of adventure.

So it's interesting that in your dream you met a person named after a mythological sea adventurer...on a sea cruise.

Maybe its symbolic of a desire to just accept yourself as you are, and to move ahead, and embark on new things.

First I dreamed that I was watching what was like an anime, where a girl in Japan runs away from home and meets a boy and a little girl, who are also runaways, and they're traveling together. Then they sneak into an apartment and the girl shows the bathroom to the boy and suggests they do something... suggestive, but then they notice a woman and a man in another room talking. And then they hear the man asking the woman if she has coronavirus and she says yes and her children have it too. The girl and boy are horrified and tell the little girl they have to get out of there, which they do while they can hear the woman coughing. Then they go stay at a hotel, which is weird because it probably wouldn't even be open and be even worse for spreading coronavirus.

Then the dream changes, and I'm in a hotel or apartment. And it gets really weird and kind of embarrassing, but I'm dressed up and pretending to be a clown and putting on my own "kid's show". And then a group of adults and I few kids I don't know come in and sit there and watch me "entertain" them. Several adults are smoking like chimneys and I try telling them in a falsetto clown voice that smoking is yucky. Then I turn on the TV and a woman is singing "Send in the Clowns", and I decide to wrap up the "show" and everyone leaves, and I go back to normal. But occasionally people or animals come into the room and I just want them to stop barging in and invading my privacy.

:clown:

I dreamt that I went to an island. I had a guide who took me there on a log raft. When we arrived I noticed that the raft had a cleverly constructed metal sub frame which held it together, making it easy to replace logs. My guide was a nice guy with a relaxed manner and sitting outside at a cafe in the harbour with him felt good even though I was a stranger on the island.

At some point I started to explore the island and I discovered a baby who was about 10 inches tall and almost perfectly round. It had something of the quality of a vegetable about it as if it had come from a pumpkin plant. I tried to describe to others this extraordinary discovery but nobody seemed surprised :)

i dreamt i was in the forest and a red fox was dancing with me in play, then the dream was interrupted with a black box with white writing on it, telling me to wake up and get my property tax paperwork off the living room floor before i forgot about it and it got covered with stuff and i forgot to pay it. so i woke up and attended to that.

Trains.
Trains carrying me not where I intend to go. I have no ticket, no money to buy one and no documents.
I try to find a train back home but I can't navigate their twisted schedule.

Sometimes I get the same dream with buses.

Last night I dreamed that I was driving down the main street through one medium sized city that I used to know pretty well when a motorcycle and a pickup passed me at good speed with the pickup feet behind the motorcycle.

All of a sudden they came to a halt. It was easy to see that the pickup had run into the back of the motorcycle. I parked my pickup across the lane to deflect traffic, turned my blinkers on, got out, and went to see if I could help. The driver of the motorcycle was moving and in obvious pain. He grabbed hold of my legs and wouldn't let them go. The female passenger about five feet away was not moving at all.

The driver of the pickup that ran into them was ranting about what they did to him. He was obviously suffering from a great deal of road rage.

I called 911 and waited for the ambulance and police, but they never came.

I was stuck in a church and couldn't leave because of stay-home restrictions from the virus. We'd be arrested if we went outside. I didn't have my phone charger and I was worried my phone was gonna die. I didn't have any personal belongings except my phone. I was panicking about how I needed clothes and what we would do for food. There were a bunch of people I didn't know there, and I didn't want to be stuck with strangers. I am not sure how I ended up there in the first place. I was trying to devise a plan to escape.

Last night I dreamed that I was asleep.

It wasn't quite that easy, though, since I had nothing on and it was in a booth at a coffee shop.

I was watching a cartoon where Mickey Mouse is trying to film some kind of video with Pluto and a crocodile. Pluto was supposed to bark, but he was too nervous, not because of the crocodile but because of performance anxiety, and all that came out was a pathetic little yip. And them Mickey got really angry and started being really mean and out of character to Pluto, chasing him with a newspaper and calling him "A stupid, stinky dog". 8O The crocodile is very sad and upset, and he climbs into some kind of cave or a really big hollow tree, and starts shedding crocodile tears. But they're not fake tears, he really is sad. And then green snot dripped in copious amounts from his snout, and it was gross.

It was like when they attempt to make classic cartoon characters appeal to modern viewers by being disgusting and cruel with no real humor, and fail miserably.
