Saturday, I was scheduled Lot Attendant 9 to 12 and Specialty services greeter 12 to 1:30. But I didn't ask or tell the head cashier. Nobody came and got me. Rather than a "lack of social skills", I feel that the autistic side of me is simply of a color nobody else can see. I can get friends, a partner, attention - if i fake. When I walk through the garden, I tend to take the same path, forgetting the glory of different perspectives. Walking around the mango, back to the Kwai Muk, and suddenly: a veritable mountain of purple climbing asters cascading over Irma debris, droves of honey bees and a fragrant zephyr. My heart stood still.

I just survived another trip to the city for health food, assuming I didn't get a virus. I left in a snow storm because of the pre-ordered food, and because my car insurance goes off tomorrow to save money. Almost everything went right according to plan, and I even got a visit with my friend, scrounged some plywood for a project there, and got home before dark. I was on pure snow for about 2 hours of driving, and barely had any skids. Now I'm set until next year.
