I want to and I would clean my bedroom up if I knew where to put things. There just isn't much space in here.

Christmas isn't a plot or a location, it's a spirit. My Christmas is going to be as good as the rest of the ones that I've had, even though my mum wants us apart because of Covid.

The post-office, UPS, & FedEx are all blaming Covid & holiday season for delays. There is more demand & less employee availability. The holiday season ALWAYS ups every single year so why the hell have none of them been preparing for that :? Unemployment is very high rite now cuz of Covid so they could of hired a lot of people to compensate for their increased use & reduced employee availability. This is very common with lots of businesses. They all want to hire as few employees as they possibly can so they panic & freak out because the huge business can not handle a single person not being there. Places should hire extra people to improve their reliability so things will not majorly suffer when something happens.

I feel like I am more confused and that I don't understand people even more than ever before. I put on my tinder profile that I am moving up country in September and have about 4x more matches than when I was saying I was into something serious. I don't see what I should take away from that.

I really wish the wind would stop. I'm afraid that my decorations will blow around all over my balcony.

Woke up in a highly humid and cold time...

Felt like I'm wrapped with something heavy and I'm not sick.

Sigh...
Sensitivities. And consistency. Damn it.

Think I'm going to try to avoid arguments til after Christmas.

Nothing actually gets achieved except feeling bad and disliking people.

If your choice of pet makes someone who loves you glad not to see you, you should probably train that pet to be less of a pest.

I'll take it that you are going to try & avoid all people till after Christmas. Or you will try & avoid talking to anyone till after Christmas  It is impossible not to upset people sometimes. Just saying what you like or dislike or will do or not do ect ect ect can suddenly turn into bad arguments. People argue about nothing sometimes. For example there's been very heated arguments in the past between Star Wars & Star Trek fans because some fans believed that you had to have an allegiance to one or the other. For some reason some fans can not accept that some people actually do enjoy both equally but like different things about both :?

I'm wondering why a one day storm delayed a package being delivered to me by at least two mail days. Both the post-office & the seller said it would be here on Friday. We had a one day snow storm & it's currently Saturday night & tracking only said it's running late since Friday. No clue where it currently is or when I will get it. I'm not in a rush for it but it does not make since why a one day event will delay the mail by two days :? The seller did not even turn it in to USPS till a week after they claimed it would be in after I ended up sending them a message. The seller replied to my message that carriers are delayed due to Covid & holidays. The tracking did NOT show that USPS had even received it till the day after I sent the seller a message which was about 10 days after I ordered it. Seller said in that email it should be here on the 18th which is the same day the tracking said after USPS received it. I would not of been bothered by the delay if the seller would or of actually turned the package over to the post-office before the day they said it would be in by. They have a lot of reviews & over 99% positive feedback on eBay. I checked their negative & neutral feedback & one person mentioned slow shipping. They will not be getting positive feedback from me. I understand things happen & people screw up sometimes but they should own it instead of trying to deflect the blame. Why would it take like 10 days for USPS to suddenly show they have it the day after I sent the seller a message. Even I am NOT that stupid.

I'm going to end up avoiding most people irl anyway, sadly :( I wanted to see Granddad Christmas Day & my cousins outside some of the rest of the time - not going to happen.

Nah I was probably being a bit too NT in language. To be specific - if the other pov makes me think the person is selfish/evil, I will not engage in it. I'm done trying to save the world, some people won't learn so I'm taking a break.

If the other POV makes me think the other person is foolish or merely has a different pov to me - I'll engage. For eg if we lose today and I have a different pov to someone else on why we lost. Or, like you said, fandom arguments. But I'll try not to turn such discussions into an argument.

It helps that my uncle won't be able to make anti-vegetarian comments at my mother across the dinner table this year. I'm a meat eater but I recognise that what she's doing is a moral choice on behalf of the animals so I don't criticise her for it simply because I lack the willpower to do it myself.

I understand now. I learned arguing with people is a waste of your time if they have strong opinions or beliefs. You cant force your views onto anyone & trying to push them makes others feel like they are being attacked which causes them to get defensive & cling even harder to their belief & opinions. Someone has to be willing to listen & hear things out in order for them to possibly be swayed to your side. I've been in LOTS of arguments during my life & got majorly upset over em. I burned bridges & screwed up friendships & romantic relationships. Unfortunately it is a lot easier for me to realize this after the fact than it is for me to avoid arguing when I am in those situations but I've gotten a lot better than I used to be at it.

Thanks for the advice.

Similar thing on my mind now: should I read a book I know I will disagree with going in?
