I yelled, "Don't worry. The police are on their way." The man assaulting her opened the door and tried to leave ans I stabbed him in the chest with the knife and he fell to the ground.

Then there was a commercial voiceover -- "When time is of the essence and you can't wait for the police to arrive, come to City Hardware. We have what you need."

Suddenly, two police officers ran up, grabbed me, handcuffed me, and led me down the hall saying "We saw what you did and you are going to prison for life."

The same commercial voiceover again -- "Support the City Police. We always get our man."

This made me laugh so hard! Too much tv, lol.

I dreamed recently there was a massive field of male lions. They were all walking side by side, they were touching each other and there were like hundreds of them. I had gotten really scared because of some stuff going on and male lions are protectors so I felt like it was the answer to my prayer, that God was showing me he was protecting me and not to be afraid.

There was no violence in this dream, but still intense.

I dreamt that my family (including both versions of the family patriarch) and I were attending a large event that had many prominent figures present, the majority of whom we had never met.

Like everyone, we were dressed fancy. After some time, we heard someone from the kitchen shouting "HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT" almost repeatedly indicating something had happened in the kitchen. Because of how big the building was, my family and I had no idea where the kitchen was, but we managed to get out without any injuries just like many other people who were at the event with us.

The building turned into an inferno and exploded.

How many have experienced deja-vu related to recent sleep-dreams?

I had recently experienced strong deja-vu like memories of both recent, and past sleep dreams. This experience felt what may be described as a powerful, profound "way out there type experience."

I keep dreaming that I'm in deep consultation with Darmok, trying to write some type of long complicated blog.

I often have dreams that seem to be part of a series of related dreams. The same or similar theme, sometimes a repeat of a dream and sometimes something of a continuation of a dream.

i dreamt i was in my tin can at night, i was cooking something in the microwave oven when the power went out, and in the dark the oven suddenly malfunctioned and came back on despite no wall current, it blew up and the door burst open and lethal microwaves were issuing forth from the magnetron inside, turning it off had no effect, it made a loud AC buzzing sound that was crackling and deafening, i had to carefully reach around and unplug the thing which shut it down. then i dreamt i was asleep in bed when i heard a rustling noise, opened my eyes and saw a large pale tan balloon thing rising on the side of my bed, whose countenance appeared as having an ink-drawn animated face on it, whose expression was impassive until it got eye-level with me, then its eyes narrowed, and he/it said, "BOO!" then i awoke.

sadly my dream included all the cast members from USA tv series "The Big Bang" were my friends and was hanging out with them . Mainly just observing. Woke thinking that , i must be getting hard up for friends during this isolation days.... but also realized watching this show concern HFA individuals in a comedy , made me feel alittle more normal.
Just recently starting to recall dreams.

do you find that you have "seasons" in the year when you're more likely to remember more dreams? for me it is the springtime. don't know the why of that.

i had another strange one where i was in this classroom in front of a few people in the back sitting at desks. a number was called out, and some guy wearing jeans and white dress shirt [very white] approached me with a name tag in one hand, needle and thread in the other, told me that i had the privilege of having a name tag sewn onto my bare back, sans anaesthetic. i felt every needle poke and stinging thread pulled through my skin, but not once did i wonder what the hell i was doing there. i was just a victim of this madness, poor folk in the dream had to wear name tags sewn on their skin for all to see and we had to walk around naked.

I was in bed with a man I don't know from real life. We hadn't been together very long but the emotion and chemistry were palpable. We were best friends, deeply in love, and very smitten. During the bedroom scene I was a bit nervous and there were a few technical difficulties but I won't get into all the details. Then I went to his house to stay with him for a week or two. Everything was going well until I discovered his wife lived there too. He was married! I didn't know! He had reportedly "left" his wife when he met me, but it wasn't a legal separation. They still lived in the same house and his wife was heartbroken at the collapse of her marriage, plus the fact I was there in her face. It was a really awkward situation to say the least.

At the end of the visit I packed up my car to leave but kept having to go back in the house for more belongings. I realised that I should be polite and thank the wife for her hospitality during my stay. She was with some other women, crying about her break up. I very tactfully asked to speak with her alone, at which point I recognised her as a woman I used to work with in real life. This made me even more empathetic for her, because she was a real person I cared about from my past. I was hugging her and crying, imploring her to believe I didn't know the man was married. I didn't mean to hurt her. I even gave her PTSD resources and the names of legal services that could help if she and her husband didn't reconcile. The man re-appeared but I didn't want him to hear me consoling his wife, or admitting his duplicity. I tried to keep the conversation very quiet and upbeat but in the meantime I was making plans to get the hellll outta there, and never see him again. I felt heartbroken too, because I really liked the guy.

It was so real, yet so bizarre.

*Decided to view [page 104 of 207 pages] in this disc. thread - as of this writing, the middle portion of this disc. thread. The following post piqued my interest, and (quoted) response:

Personally, "psyching myself out" to encourage beneficial dreams before going to sleep is ineffective! It's probably best to let it happen naturally.

In a recent dream, someone was rubbing my back in the exact places where I feel like wings should be attached. It felt so good, I was squirming around and making small noises in sheer ecstasy. But if my back is rubbed in real life, it doesn’t create the same feeling. It doesn’t even feel good at all. Odd.

Did you mean to post this in another thread? And got confused?

Or did you have a dream that you were the victim of a lynching?
