I can't stop thinking about a woman who went after Barb for the meltdown that I had when she misgendered me three times in a row. Just when I make peace with my soldierly ways, it looks as though I'll be wearing Modish disguises so that flower stem won't recognize me.

My daughter's bff drives me crazy with her lack of forethought.
They've been besties since they were three, but the friend is now married.
She also moved about 90 mins away, so they don't see each other often.

She's my daughter's only friend.
The other girl has literally hundreds of friends.

Anyway, my daughter discovered a new singer that she's crazy about.
I forgot his name but it's a man.
She introduced her friend to the music and she loved it too.
This music became their "thing" and they send each other songs all the time.

The singer announced a concert here.
The girls got all excited and talked about what they'd wear etc.

My daughter was just about to order two tickets.
Her friend called her and said she's going with her husband instead.
They already bought their tickets.

The tickets are reserved seating so my daughter can't just +1.

My daughter is now thinking of getting a reserved seat by herself.
She ends up doing all sorts of things by herself, like going to movies and restaurants.

I feel so sorry for her.

Her friend is totally clueless about how much hurt she's caused.
It's weird because the husband likes my daughter and often invites her along.

This time they didn't even give my daughter a second thought.

I read we're supposed to get a solar storm today and it's going to cause all kinds of damage and power outages and other chaos. I guess the world really is coming to an end. But that's okay because I hate it and I hate my life.

Thinking of my deceased friend, Chrissy. Her Birthday would have been this month. I just want to cry.

Technically yesterday, but I haven't been to bed and I haven't stopped crying. One of the most harrowing and painful days of my life. And the person who is hurting me is my oldest friend and the person I love most in the world, and he could make it go away with a wave of his hand.
