Gah, bummer. :x

A family member who I live with has tested positive with the test and I have all the symptoms too, so I am just assuming based on the symptoms. (I didn't actually take the test).

Here I was just the other day feeling okay, talking to you about your Covid and now it seems that I have it too.

Oh dear.

My mother choked on food and we had to do a Heimlich Maneuver.
It was really bad and she literally turned blue.
That was just before I sat vigil for a dying loved one.
I'm unhappy to hear more about the medical malpractice involved.

What a distressing day, Isabella, I'm so sorry! Is your mum okay? And how are you coping with all of this?

I asked my dad to drive me home around 5 this evening. He seemed very surprised that I wanted to go home. After the incident with the hat that makes a very convincing German helmet, the 3 bathroom accidents in 24 hours and me forgetting to ask my mum if she needed to use the bathroom before taking a shower and the fact that it was just the three of us for dinner, I couldn't take it anymore. I asked my mum if I wanted her to cook the turkey to make up for the fact that she saw me in that hat when she walked in with my stocking an hour before I planned to go to bed, 4 times. I took for granted that she was going to hang the stocking beside the bed when she woke up in the wee hours of the morning that she usually does. I wasn't expecting to barge in with her CPAP mask yelling, "Take off that helmet....here's your stocking!" The thought of one more thing going wrong was enough for me to ask my dad to drive me home.

That sounds scary. I am sending kitty hugs to you and your loved ones.
