I hope that Dr. John Wakefield is happy in Hell.

I wonder what Jenny McCarthy thinks of Om Nom. Is she dumb enough to think she can save him?

I wonder what the staff at Autism Speaks think of Om Nom. Are they dumb enough to think they can cure him?

My partner was confirmed to have Mono (Mononucleosis / Epstein-Barr).
That explains his high fever.
It started Thursday and he's still really sick.

We shared a bed for ... ? ... eight nights yet I feel fine.
I assume it means I'll be getting it any day now, though?

Anyone here had it?

Sorry.

I hate to inform you of this but the incubation period is four to six weeks.

My sister had that in college. Most people recover fully but it takes a number of weeks or even a few months.

It is most common in teenagers and young adults but since you guys are older make sure keep a close watch on things. Make sure your partner and you if you contract it be careful about straining your spleens because they can become enlarged.

Thanks.
That's pretty much what his doctor said.

He got a note that he's legally exempt from wearing a seatbelt because his spleen is so inflamed already.
If he were to stop fast, the seatbelt could cause it to rupture.
He won't be driving anywhere, but that would also apply if he were a passenger.

My exh had it when we were dating back in the 80s.
I wonder if I got immunity from him somehow.
Maybe I even had a mild version of it way back then.
People can't get it twice, can they?

Here's what I've found -

Hmmm. I wonder if my chronic stress reactivated a dormant virus in me and I gave it to him?
Either that or his own stress reactivated his own?
It seems like lots of people carry it without knowing.

A month ago was Christmas and New Year. His cousin was visiting from BC. They had a lot of family get-togethers with pecks on the cheek, toasting drinks, and Happy New Year kisses.

It can also spread through the air. His doctor said the whole "kissing disease" thing is kind of blown out of proportion because it's a virus pretty much like any other virus. You can still get it from strangers sneezing near you etc.

Some ret*ds had the nerve to let their dogs off leash and they acted like they had never done anything wrong before in their lives. (Reminds me of Amy Lee scheel b***h)

Emotional overeating

Trouble sleeping

Phone didn't recharge

Mister redelings didn't apologize for refusing to call me by my "boys name"

I was still alive

Raincoat made skin itchy

I don't know who those people are but they all sound like idiots if they think they can cure people.
Also, I hate Autism Speaks.

Mononucleosis - Can it recur?

Thanks. I was going to say something similar. I've heard that dormant Mono can be "reactivated" by exposure to Covid, even if you don't get Covid. I suppose when it reactivates it would have a different name than Mono, but it would still show up on the Monospot test. I'm wondering if he was exposed to Covid and this happened to him? He's negative for Covid but he's had it before so he would have natural immunity, and he also had two jabs and a booster.

Who knows!

His doctor said not to worry about how he got it, but worry about his spleen and ensuring he gets enough rest.

I had to wait an hour to get my bloodwork done in a room packed with people.
