So often people only see what they want to see in me (oftentimes negative or detrimental things that they'd never admit they want of me, because they want to punish/react negatively to/ etc. me for it). I can anticipate the reaction they want and quite deliberately not so much as twitch a muscle, deliberately not giving it to them, and they still react as if I had, and if I call them on it, they make up some miniscule indication that I didn't actually give (I'm hyperaware of my body, particularly when I'm paying extra attention to things like that, I know for certain I did not react in any way no matter how miniscule).

Wondering what kind of bird I'm hearing. It makes the same exact sequence of sounds every 5 seconds. It's been doing that for probably ten minutes so far.

Edit: I found out that it's a white-crowned sparrow.
