Today was a good day. A lot about it pleased me. I got to sleep in, wake up when I was ready. I managed to get some stuff done around the house and balanced it nicely with some enjoyable downtime spent catching up on a game I had been ignoring. It didn't get too hot in the house despite it being hot outside. My one daughter and her boo thang stopped by for a bit and I got to interact with him...haven't gotten to do that yet. He seems alright. I also got a random text from someone about something that was bothering him. It made me smile that he feels he can talk to me like that. Hopefully I said something useful or at least encouraging/supportive. Now? I have a dog sleeping at my feet and I chill out until I decide to sleep...and I don't even have to stress getting up early tomorrow. Win.

Oh! Almost forgot! I also found that stupid vape pen that went mia. :lol:

Mr Hercules slid the dresser smoothly into my closet.
It fit just right.
No screwing or drilling were required, but I ooh'ed and aww'ed anyway.
Brute strength is soooo hot.
