More info on my accent:

R becomes guttural (like in French) after back vowels

T and D are pronounced like the Spanish flapped R in between a stressed vowel before and an unstressed vowel after.

Voiced and unvoiced TH harden to a dental D and T at the start of a stressed syllable.

The vowels in bot and bought merge and shift forward in pronunciation

The vowel in bat and sack rises and breaks into "eh-uh"

The stressed "uh" vowel in but and suck backs towards where the caught-bought vowel used to be.

The vowel in bag, bang, and flag merge with the "ay" vowel in "vague"

There is a strong tendency to drop schwas.

N disappears before F, V, TH, S, Z, SH, and ZH, nasalizing the previous vowel. "Wiscõsin"

I have a weird accent for somebody from Texas...I have no ideas how I'd phonetically type it...a lot of it is in the cadence and inflection..and I woodnt know how to type dat

Ummmm....how yooou saaay......doh skoh..... I stammer a lot and my speech is peppered with little nonsense phrases...also I have somewhat different accents depending on my mood and who I am speaking to....

My good AS-ish friend and I have our own dialect between us that sounds like a mix between child- talk, a fake, heavily affected Southern accent....and I think a rural Illinois accent...since that's where he is originally from... Really that's not a very good description of it..it is hard to explain...

I talk-sing..and my accent is all over the place.....we mimic each other.....the result is something that almost sounds like a coded language...

I'm American, and have lived in several different states, from California to the Deep South. While in the south I was told I had a Californian accent, and two months later, while visiting Cali, I was told I sounded southern. Now most people say I don't have much of an accent. One thing that was recently brought to my attention was my pronunciation of 'alright'. Apparently I say "owl-right"--I think that may be more idiosyncracy than regional accent, though.
