it was originated on second life I think, when (it is said) characters who were black were banned, so a bunch of people form 4chan created black characters with suits and afro's and all stood infront of the pools-saying "pools closed"
if memory serves me right

It's not like I don't want to learn to swim, I just never took the time to take lessons. It's especially sad because my nine-year-old sister can swim and I can't.

it wasn't my initial idea to take up swimming, it was part of my physical therapy for a back injury, so i went along with it. am glad i did.

Yeah, but only in a private pool or the ocean (go-go OCD).

I find the water on my skin to be soothing (sensory).

It's why I want to take up spearfishing (I also like hunting and eating fish).

When I was being taught to swim at age 4, I found water extremely terrifying. I would have the biggest screaming and crying fits during swimming lessons. I hated them. However, once I got over my fear I adored the water. I was a total water baby. I love being surrounded by water, immersed in it. I would get in the pool at the beginning of the day and would have to be dragged out at the end of the day.

I don't go swimming as much as I would like these days, but I love being near the water.

interesting, i also was terrified of water, especially if it got into my ears and eyes. it took until my teens to get over this.
