And Geena Davis and Madonna. Don't forget Rosie o' Donnell and that Monk girl, Bitty Schram who played a sweet innocent mother who had a bratty kid.

You guys, I've been watching What's Eating Gilbert Grape, and my only regret is that I didn't watch it sooner. It's a really sweet, heartfelt movie. Not only was Johnny great in the movie, his costar Leonardo DiCaprio really shined too. :) I admit that I was hesitant to see a movie featuring Johnny outside of a fantasy role, but it was actually a breath of fresh air to see him play a normal guy.

I've started watching Benny & Joon too. I can see why League Girl likes it so much; it's very charming. :)

Yay. Now you have to watch A League of Their Own.

Okay, I'll definitely put it on my "To Watch" list!

Thanks! :D I know, Johnny looks so good as Gilbert Grape! I love how long and soft-looking his hair is in it.

I own a pink and red striped shirt like the one he wears in the beginning of the movie. I call it my "Gilbert shirt". haha

Right now I'm a quarter of the way through Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas... And I'm loving every minute of it. Raoul Duke is a riot, and I couldn't picture any other man but Johnny playing him. :)

I'm going to buy it the next time I get some extra money. I think it's a masterpiece in its own weird way. I also think it's worth mentioning that I got someone else to fall in love with it too. I mentioned it to a mutual friend of my brother's and mine, and he watched it. Today when he came over we both got to talk about how great it is. :D
