No, I wasn't triggered to join. I was looking into whether it was likely that I was an aspie and when I found I could relate to a lot of the hot topics at the time and had lurked for a while, I thought it was time to join.

i'd been lurking for a long time but decided to finally get an account when i realized that instead of getting frustrated about being misunderstood and teased all the time by my current friends and feeling alone i should find people who communicate like me and experience similar things... hopefully learn stuff about myself too

not many other places i can ask about relationship problems and get answers that aren't from confused neurotypicals..

I found out about the website during my previous school year when looking up stuff related to autism, but I didn't join WrongPlanet until this July.
