Gasp!! !! Someone wants to visit Denmark! I'm amazed.
Don't worry about the language barriers: the vast majority of the Danes speak English quite well, especially the younger ones. (:

Nope, I still avoid the accursed Daystar when I can. I would guess that all my tiny hairs make my skin look darker now that I'm older. It could also have to do with the lighting not being very even in that picture.
In any case, I can still see many bloodvessels through the skin of my hands. (I'm looking right now. )



And the language contains many english loan words, right?

Iceland is awesome; Faroe Islands are also on my list. And Denmark !

I only avoid it, when it's too hot outside. These wonderful spring days (despite of the weather still being slightly too cold for the season) I enjoy spending outside. Especially past 3 o'clock, where the streets outside are practically empty.

Men's blood vessels are usually very visible. I can't see many of mine. : ( Only a few thin ones on my wrist.
Anyhow: a hurray must be said for all the pale meeklings of this world.

Denmark might not have a lot of stunning nature, but Råbjerg Mile in northern Denmark took my breath away, that's for sure. (: Where are you from yourself ?

The Råbjerg Mile sounds amazing.. but for sand I prefer the southwest United States...

I've been twice and love the place. I'd love to go again this year. Hm, perhaps I should be booking it.

I know that many Danes speak English very well (often better than the British in fact) but everything to do with daily life in Denmark, not unreasonably I might add, is in Danish. So that kind of precludes it, I'm afraid.

After the UK, I'd say that Denmark is the best country in the world.

Perhaps you should ! : D There's an art exhibition at the Aros Museum in Aarhus called: "I love you" showing love in ALL it's facets.

Ah, yes. Hadn't thought of that aspect. It might be a tad hard to figure out what's on the menu, what the street signs are saying, etc. It's not an easy language, I'm afraid. The spelling and the pronouncements don't fit.
On thing which has bothered me for ages is that 60 is called "tres" and for some reason 50 is "halvtres" meaning "half of 60".

@MyFutureSelfnMe: But but but... Wait a minute, while I of some kind of argument supporting Råbjerg... Ah! You can't bathe in that desert. The sand in Råbjerg is deep and sooooft with no larger rocks in it.
