Lack of belief in the national football team, no matter which of the four constituent countries is represented.

The tradition of higher education, and amount of prestigious universities.

The sense of history and culture in many places.

The love of low brow popular culture in others.

People taking advantage of the culture of political correctness to abuse it by making wrongful, vigilantistic attacks on others.

Teenage pregnancy/slut culture.

People living in fear of yobs, louts and chavs who get away with terrorising people in communities because we live in a nanny state.

I really don't like how people in my country (America) think British people are all huffy and snotty. Its mainly because they've met the more wealthy scholars that go to school here. When you meet a lot of the working class people in England, they tend to be a lot more friendly and fun to talk to. It just shows how stupid some people are where I live. I would love to go visit England, sure they don't tend to really LIKE Americans, but statistically speaking at least they're one of the few places where most people don't hate people for just being American.

Side note: I think France and Germany have wonderful governments that care a lot more about their citizens than mine does, and I love the exchange students I meet from there, but I would honestly skip going there on a tour of Europe. If I had to go through there I'd just say I was Canadian to avoid getting beat up. Sorry I don't mean to offend any of our fellow French and German aspies, but I get enough people hating me for things I can't do anything about here in America.

Wanton cruelty to the common comma and failing history forever in the same sentence, nice going.

In answer to the OP

Rum,Sodomy and the lash

Britain was great when it had a navy and was sodomising everyone who wasn't a white anglo-saxon. Now its going back to its natural state of mediocrity after too much time in the lime light.

Yup. Us northern scum are a whole world away from those soft, southern shandy-drinking Jesses.
