After you die what would u like done with your remains?

I'm an atheist, so i want my body to be donated to forensics scienses.

Preserve any remaining organs and have someone else make use of them when I clearly am no longer able to (should have put a mark by "organ donor" on my DMV application, oh well next time I'll remember), the rest I could care less about. Hang me in a biology class, use my ashes for pigment, I don't care.

I'm dead, so any decisions will have to be made on my family's part, which will more than likely be cremation. Works for me I suppose.

I want to be stuffed and displayed somewhere where I will scare small children.

Failing that, it doesn't matter. I'll be dead; for all I care people can take my skull and use it as a hat.

Cremated, since the thought of decomposing bodies and open casket funerals scare me! I also believe strongly in reincarnation and I think those who are cremated are more likely to come back into something else since their remains are brought back to earth.

However, because half my family is Jewish and Judaism traditionally disapproves of cremation, I don't know how they would feel about my decision.

but yeah i think organ donation(s'not like i'll be needing them anymore) and cremation is the way to go. i want my ashes to be scattered not buried. land is an issue where i am. it could be used for better things- bush regeneration or public housing for instance.

I would like as much of me to be utilized as possible to keep others alive or to use in research/education, and the rest I would like to be ejected into space (without being cremated) so that my organic compounds may have a slim chance to contaminate foreign bodies and proliferate our tree of life into the universe long after we are all gone.

Embalming is perhaps the most unnerving of all potential processes my body could undergo, essentially converting my body into an artificial poison soup. It seems hypocritical to me for religious people to resort to such an unnatural and toxic means of preservation. The binding of proteins occurring in the embalming process turns your body, on the molecular level, into an abomination of its original natural state.

Ideally I would like to be an organ donor, but my insides are probably so trashed from all the psych meds I take that I doubt they would be useful to anyone.

And I'm Catholic, so that leaves out cremation.

So a burial it is for me.

Cremation i guess, christian burial is a really icky practice.

I prefer to be Buried the thought of being incinerated scares me.

Donate as much body parts as possible and the rest could be cremated and the ashes thrown into a river. Or better, used in some garden as a fertilizer.

Wrapped in linen and buried in ancient woodland.


Or, returned to the Atlantic Ocean.
