I have just one more thing to say about domestic abuse and rape... both are a special interest of mine and I can get very heated over them. I will do my best to refrain from starting s**t over them, but for now I will settle for saying this...

Everyone is vulnerable to abuse, but it's no secret that women are abused/raped more often than men are. (not talking about child abuse here) It's also a well known fact that many abusers manage to get the courts on their side and paint their victim as the perpetrator. (this does include child abuse)

I've lived through a lot of abuse, and have a lot of first hand experience. When I see someone bring up 'false rape charges', I do tend to think they were accused of something in the past. Right or wrong, I also tend to default to the woman when she says she's been raped... for many reasons. That does not mean I don't think women falsely accuse. Many do, but the percentage of false accusations is relatively small. That makes it a safe assumption that the accused is in fact guilty.

Message deleted. Don't mind me - I just felt like deleting my message. It was not disrepectful to anyone but I felt like deleting the message.

If the universe could laugh...it would pee itself when we humans talk about our
"rights".

As an Autistic, 'affirmative action' in recognition of my (male) gender is about as relevant as a parrot with a bicycle. :?

So a thread about rights has now turned into a thread about wrongs...meh...it works for me.

Sorry MONIQUEIJ, I couldn't vote. I thought every one already had rights...but you know...maybe that just in my unaffected, little world.
