Though I know of people my age who are into anime, there aren't many. But it seems like most teenagers are into it now. It doesn't seem very non-mainstream to me. Is this so? Or is it just that they gather at the same sites I happen to go to? (Besides here.)

 More than twice your age.

The whole terminology thing confuses me. I think it varies from place to place or by age or something, because I know a couple people who went to Caltech who refer to themselves as geeks. They are definitely not lacking in intelligence.
