I'm interested in getting myself down to a weight that's right for me, and not for the average young woman of today.

The Watchmen Movie was one of my interests last year, but yesterday I finally went out and bought the graphic novel. I have only read the first chapter so far, but I am really enjoying it. It is easier to understand than I thought it would be... Unless of course it gets a whole more complex as I progress through the story. :?

I've been learning a little artificial neuron theory. I've already created the simple logic gates, and am working on the higher ones like NAND (I derived that gate from and AND and OR gate). After that, I'm going to try build an information processing system from them, maybe something simple like multiplication, or item sorting (of course, having studied programming, binary or even logic would help a lot :))

after that, I'm gonna have a shot at learning the basics of Shannon Entropy. And finish learning my Biochemistry textbook. Busy summer...

For the 0.00000000001% of the forum who like math, and biology, and information theory, here is a java app to play with

It's great being able to vent my random obsessions, for some reason my roommate doesn't find neurology or mathematical modeling interesting :o
