Argentina - unless I could effectively disguise that I am British. They don't seem to like us too much. Patagonia would be interesting tho.

I wouldn't let that spoil your trip. Though Argentines seem to have this fetishistic obsession with the 'Malvinas'. The Falkland Islands are British. End of story, José.

Disney World. I've been there a couple times as a kid & if you dislike crowds, noise, rides & shopping; there is NO fun to be had there

Didn't the Gallo-Romain (sorry, I don't know the english word for them) go as far as Ireland?
I'm surprised.

.
The Romans didn't make it to Ireland as they thought it was too cold for them :) .They called it 'Hibernia' which is where we get the
English word hibernate and the French word l'hiver = winter
The Vikings had been quite happy to invade Ireland though - it probably felt a little warmer to them than Scandinavia.

There was a lot of trade between Ireland and Rome, we have a lot of Roman artifacts in our museums.

I have to stick up for Russia. It is an amazing beautiful country, with an interesting culture and history. The trans-Siberian train line is also truly phenomenal. :!:   :!: 8)

Russia would be my first choice. It's produced the greatest artists and musicians of all time, and it's a very idiosyncratic country :)

I have no desire to go to India, Japan... also there are places I've been that I would never go back, like New York City and L.A. ... and it's all because these places are just too crowded and they stink! I have no doubt that Japan and India would be just as bad, or any place equally as populated.

Antarctica seems nice.

I have no interest in visiting the Great Plains region of the United States (which consists of the states of Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota) because they just seem like such boring places to me.

Those too because of my extreme terror of tornadoes.

I had a similar thought

I'm Janissy's opposite, I love cold places and would avoid any of the hot ones :)

That'd be interesting. There's a museum there.

But I've been to Auschwitz and even though I threw up, it was an amazing experience that I'm grateful to have had.

I've wanted to go there for several years, it's awesome. 8)

I wouldn't want to go anywhere in the Caribbean, since the climate there is pretty much the opposite of what I like, and most likely nowhere in Africa.

mardi gras
or any other western drinking binge.
also most places involving all inclusive and hotel complexes.
i would rather have the creepy motel in the alley with a view of the baker in the backallaey anyday.

I'd not want to visit Portugal again (things happened there last time I was there on vacation, it is not the fault of the portuguese, but these things have ruined it for me). I would also not want to go to China, Japan, Thailand and Korea (their writing systems are so different that learning it does not seem feasible for a trip, but not learning it would make me feel like an analphabet). I would also not want to visit the Gaelic speaking areas of Ireland as even though I immigrated here, I still have not learned the 2nd official language of the country.

Also rural Austria is for me a case of NEVER AGAIN! Again, it is not the fault of the country but of my experiences there.
