THE
CREEDON
FAMILY

Peter Bradford Creedon (1828-) The patriarch of the Creedon Family. Peter was born on March 14th, 1828 in Nantucket. He excelled in his studies at the academy school on the island. During the Creedonian Civil War, he was appointed commander of the 501st army, which tracked down his brother, William. He killed his brother in Freetown at the Taunton River in 1856. For the first five years of his first son’s life, he was occupied with the Civil War. In 1854, his first daughter, Meredith was born. He became a proud parent yet again in 1861, with the birth of Ellen and Jack (John). In 1880, he was elected President of the Republic. He was reelected in 1884, and was touted as “Creedon the younger” after his father; Walter, who was president from 1850-1858

Nancy Blodgett Creedon (1829-) The matriarch of the Creedon Family. she came from Nyack, Peter State; a city on the Peter River. She was educated in the town of Hingham, a town south of Peter City, Peter State. She met the young Peter Bradford Creedon in Nantucket, when the Blodgett family was vacationing in the town. They married in 1851, after it was discovered she was pregnant with her first child.

Peter Bradford Creedon Junior (1851-) is perhaps the most well known military figure of the republic after Seamus McConnell. Peter was born November 1st, 1851 in Nantucket, Peter State. Peter was schooled at Nantucket’s Academy Hill School until age 14, when he was taken under General Thaddeus Brownell’s wing at the Creedonian Army Academy. He graduated at the top of his class. During the New England war, he was quickly made a general, and upon Brownell’s retirement in 1873, was promoted to Grand General of the Grand Army of the Republic. Under his command, he controlled the eastern front during the war. After the war, he remained active in the Army, petitioning for the Republic to remove its troops from the United States, which was done so quickly afterwards. In 1885, a so-called “Student Uprising” took place in Brattleboro, Vermont. In reality, the governor of Vermont was paranoid and sent in the state militia to fire upon helpless students. He broke the rebellion. While there, he met a young girl by the name of Ruth DeWitt. In January 1888 they married. She had an affair with Admiral Samuel Alan Bukater, and the marriage was dissolved in 1889. In 1908, he retired from the army, naming Nathan Hockley as his successor. He was elected governor of Peter State in 1908. In 1911, he began to court Emily Langdon, a girl from Brattleboro, Vermont. They married in 1912; he ran for the presidency and won the office.

Meredith Abbott Creedon (1854-) is one of the most well known musical talents of the Creedon Republic. Meredith was born on April 26th, 1854 on Nantucket. From an early age, she loved to sing. Often nicknamed “the happy muse”. She looked to her older brother for inspiration. In 1883, she got her big break in music and it was all over after that. Her popularity resurged in 1890, when she released the song “Vogue.”

Jack Derry Creedon (1861-) Jack Creedon is one of the better-known meteorologists in the Creedon Republic. During the time of year from June to November, he is seen at the National Hurricane Bureau in Nantucket.

Ellen King Creedon (1861-) Ellen Creedon is an author, who has written many children’s books. She is known for introducing the school story to Creedonian school children.
