You're from England though? The lack of sun must really drive you nuts sometimes.

It depends. As long as it lingers around for just a day or two, I'm fine. However, I dislike those week-long thunderstorms.

All people who dislike thunderstorms please send them my way. I don't appreciate it when mother nature disses me by refusing to send storms to my location. With all this heat and humidity the last few days there better be a big payoff when the cold front finally comes knocking. I want to hear close cracking lightning and great big heavy raindrops. Probably Lake Michigan will kill any storms that try to develop again just like the last cold front that went through completely DRY! That was despite a moderate severe risk and 70% precip probs from the local NWS. Argh.

I prefer overcast days, preferably with temps in the low-mid 60s. I like rain, so long as it's somewhat light and consistent. I've even been out in the rain and just stood in place with my face turned up to the rain with my eyes closed. It's a nice feeling.

I like watching thunderstorms, but I don't like being in them.

Oh, FWIW, I don't like pina coladas and I'm not into yoga.

I do the same the few times I've seen thunderstorms. Never here, but when I visited my grandparents. I love the sound, the scent, and so much water!

Yes, exactly. I wouldn't say I get depressed, but if the day starts out as overcast and then turns sunny I get really angry. I love cloudy weather. And some fog, mmm. Rain is also very nice, but I'm a bit scared of it now since we had a flood last year.

If it's going to be completely overcast, I prefer it to rain. Otherwise it's just gloomy. Really rain, not just tease us with a drop or two. Thunderstorms are awesome, but where we live, they're a treat because they rarely occur. Right now, we have overcast skies with no rain in sight. The only upside to this is that colors are brighter around my yard, & my snapdragons really pop. :-) I also love see big fluffy white clouds. I still enjoy gazing at the clouds as they go by, changing form as they go. Most of the summer we have boring hazy blue skies because of the smog. Now that's depressing.

I love the rain. I find it relaxing and uplifting. If I had my way, it would rain every day. :-D

Me, too. I love when getting up and it's cloudy. I get really angry when I look out the window and see that the sun's shining.

Thunderstorms are also rare here. Or rather, they are not rare, but just never occur. I just hate the desert. Especially in spring and summer. Not only is it boiling hot, but there's also no flowers or anything. Just tons of cacti. If at least the cacti that grew around here were edible, but not even that. They're not my favorites, but at least they would be good for something.

CR is Canadian.

Plus - it's not permanently grey and raining over here!
Most of the time it's quite pleasant and pretty moderate.

I love cloudy skies and rainy days, after all I am allergic to the sun :D . I do like some relatively sunny/warm weather occasionally though, so I can bike ride.

I enjoy it when it is cloudy outside. Rain does not bother me at all; I never use an umbrella. Sunny weather however does irritate me at times if I look at the sun.
