I went out with a friend for the first time since autumn of last year. It wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be, because she said "we have so much to catch up on!" She has had so much going on in her own life, while me? I've been doing the same things I've done since I was 16 - Watching TV/Movies, using the internet, drawing, writing and running. I felt so embarrassed whenever she asked me questions about my own life, because I worry that she thinks I'm some kind of lazy bum.
But aside from that, we went to a nifty bohemian-type store with the coolest clothes, purses and jewelery I've ever seen, where I purchased a squirrel carved out of a polished stone for my mom because she loves feeding squirrels in our yard and a keychain for my brother because he got his driver's license today. My friend and I also ate at a restaurant that was featured on the TV show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It was a trailer-park themed restaurant and the food was delicious. I had a sesame and orange salad garnished with ramen noodles.
That salad sounds awesome, what kind of running do you do? I started running about two months ago and I did this programme where you listen to podcasts that tell you when to walk/ run etc. and build up to running 5km (very slowly!).
