I can kind of understand that, I feel calm at peace in woodlands around trees. I can feel there energy its uplifting to the soul. Some of the best mediation experiences I had have been sitting under oak trees :D Theres a 1,000 year oak tree I visit when I can in a local park (its know to be on a Celtic burial site and plus the park has a stone circle) its called the Allerton Oak its the oldest tree in the city, I feel a very close connection with that tree.
I find tree hugging very calming you might what give it go if you what to

If only I could be like a bamboo tree. It may look fragile, but it is strong and and resilient. It is flexible, swaying and bending under pressure from the wind, but not breaking. It is able to survive the most violent storms.

A tall tall redwood tree, on a mountain, so I could see the world from that one spot, and I could watch the world....or that really colorful tree that seems to be painted....because it is just pretty.
